Longview Chapel Mothers Day Out

I was seriously impressed with the friendliness of this congregation. It can be awkward as a visitor but this congregation was comfortable in recognizing that we were new, and then introducing themselves and telling us about the church. The pastor greeted us personally and gave us additional information on the church and church history, and even monthly newsletter. I was so impressed. This church shows the fruit of the spirit, you can tell. I grew up moderately Pentecostal and have never checked out a Christian church before, but this church was very comfortable.

Love this place! Check out their preschool! Our boys loved the teachers here. I would highly recommend them! I really can’t say enough about how excited my boys were every day after school. It’s been a couple weeks since school ended and they both still talk about their teachers.

I was looking for a church that felt "right" when I decided to check out Longview Chapel with my grade-school aged daughters. When I walked through the front doors - I felt welcome and at home. As an adult, we'd moved several times which included looking for a new church home. I was a life-long member of another denomination before trying Longview Christian Church. That first visit was the first time I ever experienced such a complete and immediate sense of belonging. I love that every Sunday we celebrate communion; and our table is open to everyone who believes. It meant the first Sunday I attended, I could take communion even though I was a guest. Ten years later this is still home.

The people are friendly. The Minister is Awesome and cares about each person, greeting all. A church that cares and most importantly is centered on Jesus and God
