I was a child here, and they set me up for a wonderful future in education. When I started school, I was in advanced classes all the way through high school. My mother is a middle school teacher and the hours here fit well with her schedule. While I don't have the clearest memories of this place, I still have a fondness and not a single negative memory/feeling about Lollipop Stop. I graduate high school this year and I've already been accepted into multiple colleges and I believe Lollipop Stop helped set me up for success and I recommend kids going here.
Please do not send your kids to this daycare. I had this absolute worst service imaginable. I absolutely hate this daycare and other daycares that truly honestly do not care about your children. The fact that you saw me limp to the front door only to tell me I’m 1 minute late and be cannot come in, sent me over the edge. But they have let parents come in a couple minutes late before so it’s kind of whatever mood they are in. If you have the means, please homeschool your kids. I tried to leave my child with his teacher but they threatened to take him out and call CPS. All because he was 1 minute late getting in the door. They ended up calling CPS anyways because I cursed them out. They are worst people imaginable. I’m gonna edit this in and add a response to what the daycare has said. To anyone reading this, I have a chronic illness. I have severe RA, and my child barely slept that night. I came in at exactly 9:01 AM that day. Yes I yelled at staff and told them how ridiculous it is, to threaten to remove a child from class and call CPS when they were only 1 minute late. At a certain point, it isn’t about policy it is about morals. To anyone who reads this review, just know it came from a parent who doesn’t have very much support, a parent who’s been pushed around by daycares like these for months and months. Our children deserve better. I threw their lollipops on the ground “destroying their office” which was so unbecoming of me, but it’s the fact that I put so much trust in these people and went through so much and it was only his first week there. I’m not saying I did was right, but please choose wisely when choosing a suitable daycare that has support for the parents as well. It can be easy for parents and their kids to adjust if they are already established and have strong foundations. But if you are a co parent or single parent trying to make things work, these daycare teachers cannot and are unable to provide support. I came from Raleigh and maybe it’s because Winston is a smaller town, but in Raleigh they were way more supportive of struggling parents. I’m not crazy. Just angry and now disappointed.
I’ve had my kids attending this Center for the past 5 years and they all have been loved on and spoiled by everyone ! Happy 18 years and Many more will come !
My son has been attending the facility almost a year now. He enjoys going and it shows. He anticipates walking into the building each day with a smile on his face. Seeing his anticipation gives me confirmation that he is being treated well. He enjoys the staff and the other little people who attends as well. Knowing that your child is safe and taken care of when they aren’t around you is such a blessing! I recommend the Lollipop Stop for daycare and or after school services.
The staff is warm and kind. They made our daughter feel very comfortable and cared for. The center is organized, clean, cheery and professional. They sincerely care about growth, development, and establishing a safe, positive environment. Highly recommended.
