Our experience with the little tigers preschool has been wonderful! The director and teachers have had the utmost patience with us, transitioning my stay at home kiddo into pre-k. Miss Ambie and Miss Gracie are incredible. My son doesn't attach to new people easily and he looks forward to seeing them every class. Miss Ambie's kids stop in sometimes when they have days off from school and they are so sweet and kind with the kids, which is a testament to her ability to raise good humans. Not to mention, my son is learning!!! He comes home excited to tell us about his day. We even visited Miss Ambie at an outside event. She took extra time with my family after a long day, while she could've been heading home.
I gave Little Tigers a chance for well more than they deserve. I can only speak for my personal experience and I feel very disappointed. My son went through bullying by not only the students, but the teacher without consequences. The place is dated, and the staff (interacting with my son) very unprofessional. They can benefit from some training on how to deal with special needs children. As an educator, is heart breaking to arrive and see a teacher arguing with an autistic child on multiple occasions. The situation has become so significant that kids are even talking about his withdraw from the center (by my request) in school. Do not send non neurotypical kids here.
Our son went to Little Tigers for the kindergarten program since Pickerington Schools are half day kindergarten. He loved all of his teachers and the students that were in the classroom. The class was always doing fun and educational activities in the classroom and he would come home to tell me all about it. We had a wonderful experience while he attended Little Tigers.
We LOVE Little Tigers, and our kids do, too. Our 4 year old and almost 2-year-old have been going there for 5 months, and they have really enjoyed it from the beginning. The teachers are very caring and it is obvious our children are learning and are well-cared for. In the toddler room I am impressed with the level of patience the teachers have, and I can tell that they love my son. I imagine the person mentioned in the review below mine must not be there anymore because I cannot imagine either toddler teacher behaving that way. In the preschool room the teachers are knowledgeable, friendly and caring and my child has made some nice friends and picked up some good habits there. We are very pleased, and very glad to have found Little Tigers.
Ms. Ambie is phenomenal! This preschool really exceeded our expectations! It is child led, so my daughter always had a blast going to school! We love Little Tiger’s Preschool
