Little Sunshine'S Playhouse

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this daycare! From the moment you walk in, it is clear that student-centered care is at the heart of everything they do. The staff is incredibly intentional, thoughtful, and genuinely caring with each and every child. They make it a point to get to know the unique needs of every student, and it shows in the way children feel safe, loved, and supported here. Safety is always an obvious top priority, which gives me so much peace of mind, but what really stands out is the attention to detail in every aspect of care.

Coming out of Covid we made the decision to put our son into daycare.  Our first attempt at another daycare in the area was a terrifying experience and my level of stress about the situation was off the charts.  When we were able to get him into Little Sunshine it was like a mountain was lifted off of me and it was quickly apparent that this is more than a daycare, it's more than a preschool. Little Sunshine offers a wide variety of activities in the classroom mixed with a lot of play that keeps the kids engaged throughout the day.  They follow the Reggio Emilia approach which resonates with us and I believe played a key role in my son's success.  In addition, there are addons that can be purchased that introduce your kid to piano, soccer, gymnastics, general sports and even musical theatre among other things.  It is a secure facility and architecturally looks like a playhouse that a kid would want to spend his day in. From day 1 the teachers and staff were highly engaged and fostered an environment of enjoyment, fun and learning.  They greet the kids with a smile.. every single day.  They are very open to collaboration, they want to know if your kid has challenges that morning such as a parent having to travel for work and can help your kid navigate those challenges.  There are parent-teacher conferences where your child's progress will be reviewed with you and what I find extremely valuable is the coaching you will receive as a parent to help navigate certain situations, parents should be more open to this.  In my opinion they go above and beyond and while over the years teachers come and go the standard is there and they all live up to it.  I can't say enough about the quality of care that my son received there. Finally, the best compliment I can give is to focus on the results.  While our only goal was for our son to be happy and safe he took off at Little Sunshine and never slowed down.  He has been accepted into one of the most prestigious schools in the state where we strongly feel that he has the right skills and core values to succeed.  Thank you to the entire family at Little Sunshine for the support and love that you have shown to my son throughout his journey there.

Little Sunshine Playschool has been a fantastic choice for my daughter since she was one. It's been amazing to see how much she's blossomed, especially in speech and smarts. Couldn't be happier with the nurturing environment they've created. The app they use we can see live updates throughout the day of her meals, naps, and diaper changes. My daughter has strong personal connections with all of the teachers and so do we. She loves Miss Kiara they even have a special handshake together. Thank you to the collective of teachers there for all you do! Oh and whoever makes the food over there you are killing it! She seems to be eating better than us! Lol.

After a lengthy search for a fantastic, reliable daycare & preschool, we found the best with Little Sunshine! We are so pleased with how our daughter has flourished at this daycare. She loves her teachers Ms. Jessica & Ms. Kassandra and often runs to their arms for a hug during dropoff. I feel like they love & know my child and enjoy caring and teaching her. Leadership at LSP is also unmatched. They support their teachers well and provide a positive environment. Heather and Emy are incredibly kind and also very knowledgeable when it comes to child development. I’m so thankful we found LSP and feel great about my child’s development and care here.
