Little Sunshine'S Playhouse And Preschool

We enrolled our daughter at Little Sunshine’s Academy after having a bad experience at another daycare, and we’ve been so happy ever since. Our daughter has been here for four years now and is truly loved and cared for every day. She’s made wonderful connections and absolutely enjoys going to school. We originally chose Little Sunshine’s because of the Reggio Emilia–inspired curriculum, healthy lunch options, and convenient location—but we’ve stayed because of the incredible teachers and the genuine love they show the kids. This year, I’ve been especially impressed with the Pre-K program. Ms. Racquel and Ms. Jena are phenomenal! My daughter comes home excited to tell me about what she learned—meeting a doctor, dentist, firefighter, and police officer, and learning all about the planets and space. Their passion for teaching really shines through and makes learning fun and engaging. Anytime we’ve had a concern, it’s been handled quickly, kindly, and professionally. We’re so grateful to have found such a nurturing and inspiring place for our daughter to grow and learn.

We are so happy with Little Sunshine! Our oldest went there from 2019-2023 and we had mixed feelings near the end due to high turnover post COVID, although our kiddo seemed happy there. We wanted a change for our youngest for her last year before kindergarten, and I'm so happy we made the switch back to Little Sunshine. She is thriving! I have never seen her so alive amongst her peers. Her teachers are so great- they are always doing fun activities to keep the kids engaged. The staff is always welcoming and friendly! Everything is super clean too. It's the LSP that we fell in love with back in 2019. I highly recommend getting on their wait-list. It's worth the wait!

My husband and I love Little Sunshine’s playhouse and preschool! When we were expecting we looked at around 10-12 daycares in our area and after touring, this place was a no brainer! It has a long wait list and that is for good reason. You definitely want your little to go to school here. My son loves his teachers. They share a special bond. He’s made lots of little friends here too. They are great at communicating with us and sending pictures. We can’t speak highly enough about this daycare!

This has been the best daycare experience we could have asked for with our first. All the staff has been so kind and caring, I’ve never worried about my daughter’s safety and happiness. She has loved her teachers, made great friends, and learned so much. She comes home happy everyday talking about what she did that day and who she played with. The school has great communication and really care about their families. Couldn’t be more thankful for LSP!!

Our little one has been going to LSP for a couple of months now and we have been sooo impressed! Our daughter has been in the emerald city room and Glenda and Ryleigh are the best! We get updates all the time and pictures of all the activists they have our daughter engaged in. After only a couple of weeks at this daycare we saw our daughter make huge improvements in her motor skills. It makes going to work full time so much easier when I know my baby is getting the best care
