My grandchild attended this school. All I can say is that your child better be perfect if you want them to attend. If your child has any type of special needs or issues they will call you constantly to pick your child up...slowly trying to get you to leave and go somewhere else. A good school and director would try to figure things out with the parent on the best way to address issues. And I'm not talking about hitting, bitting or anything violent. So unless you have the time to pick up your child constantly with no fear of losing your job this might be the place for you. Be aware!

My daughter has been going here since October. Everything was going great at first then we had a parent teacher conference and I was told about this development program that’ll help my child. They told me sometimes it takes awhile to get in so we were ALL aware it might take a couple months to get in. We had our first appointment a month later. She got into the program but still needed one more evaluation. I told the school about it. Maria the director from the other location who is very much involved in this location still wanted to see her evaluation papers. Our next appointment was set for a month later. Everything started to go south after that. I get called all the time for my child throwing fits and they can’t calm her down so I have to pick her up or she won’t take a nap and they’re forcing her to lay on her cot. It’s sad picking your kid up with two teachers surrounding your daughter while she’s extremely upset because she doesn’t understand and they used to give her a book or a pop it toy during that time but that got taken away for some reason. They also gave me papers on SIDS indicating that’s why she can’t have toys on her cot… she’s 3… they don’t even watch infants. It’s also very upsetting that they give up on children when they need help and they’re the ones who recommended the help!! DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!! They need to have military standards to go here. They love blaming everything on state regulations… I think the state needs to stop by and update them on state regulations when it’s a simple google search for those.

One of those things that you don't have a complete feeling about, but you still try. My experience with this place began last week when I wanted to enroll my 2-year-old to start her journey in daycare/school.To begin with, the person in charge wasn't there because she was leaving early. I left with the information that she would call me on Monday, which didn't happen until Tuesday because I had to call myself because obviously I wanted to know if I had everything to start, to which she said yes, just to wait for more information via my email. They never sent me anything either. Today was my daughter's first day. When we arrived, I had to wait outside for 10 minutes because no one came to tell me anything, and the reception was completely empty. The teacher who finally came greeted her. Two hours later I call to check on her and they tell me everything is fine, but 10 minutes go by and they call me back very sternly saying that this simply wasn't a place for my daughter, that my 2-year-old daughter didn't behave like other children, didn't follow instructions, and she couldn't have a child like that because she was distracting her other children. It wasn't enough for her and she even told me that my daughter needed to be checked, meaning she had some problem or disorder. She wanted a two-year-old girl to be a soldier following orders on her first day, and to add to that, everything she hears is Spanish, so of course she couldn't understand. My question is, what is her job? What does she do because as far as I know, her number one job is the patience to teach children how to behave and how to follow instructions. I'm just sharing my experience with you because if you have new children, this won't be the place where they'll be taught. They want military children so they don't have to work.

I attended 10-12 tours (schools, prior to attending and in search of a perfect well rounded school that my child would love to go to everyday ) in Glendale and Peoria, so being able to compare and see so many different schools if they have any structure, how are the teachers like, what the classrooms look like, their learning activity, curriculums and even what they wi be learning that same day or week. This school has a designated staff set and have thier curriculum laid out and ready far in advance. Throughout the whole school they have calendars posted which what they are eating for breakfast, lunch and snacks and also have options for all kids (dairy -free for example). From Directors to Principals and all teachers including their amazing kitchen staff that feeds all their kids have an amazing personality, very caring and nurturing, I have met each one personally and have seen them every day, day in and day out and I can say everyone of them all have smiles on everyday and are very happy with all their little scholars (students). The teachers here really do take their time with all of their students in getting to know them and their learning skills so it helps them also be able to teach them in their own ways if needed as well as understand them and give your child space when needed, they all some way some how make all their kids to be number 1 and make them all feel very special at the same time helping them grow, learn become independent, socialize and help their confidence overall. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with this private school. Each staff makes my kids day every day of his life, my son loves to go to school so much that every weekend he will ask and continue to ask if he can go to school, he’s loves being at school, he loves and knows all his teachers/staffs name he gets very excited to wake up everyday because he gets to go to his school with his teachers and his friends. You can also experience this yourself personally and see exactly why I gave this school a 5 STAR review because I can say we are proud to say our child attends Little Scholars Academy. A Very big shout out to each and everyone of you teachers, vice principal, directors aid, director/ owner, chefs And very big round of applause for them! We thank you so much for all that you do for the kids we appreciate you all!!!

I was a Stay at home mom for 3 years with my daughter. I wanted to find the Perfect place for her to start her educational journey. As soon as I walked in to little scholars academy I just felt like this was the right place for our family, and our daughter. Now came the hard part. Me leaving my daughter there. I was so worried because she had only ever had me. So there was crying on both our parts but I felt calm knowing she was well taken care of. Maria & Mrs Sophia assured me she was fine even occasionally making calls to inform me she was doing great, even rearranging there own schedules to make sure she was able to adjust. 6 months later Ava she is thriving with lots of friends. Mrs Jaycee is her teacher and she's amazing showing kids so much kindness and love. My daughter loves all the teachers here. Remember this is a private school not daycare and it shows the education my daughter gets will likely put her a grade ahead when she starts school. Side note: I looked and I toured over a dozen schools and daycare's but hands down this was 100% the best choice
