Little Red Caboose Day Care Center

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Little Red Caboose. We have been part of the family for the last 9 years and could not be happier. The staff is engaged and committed to providing the best care for the children. They foster a learning environment which assists academically as well as socially. My oldest child is shy by nature but thrives in this comfortable environment. The teachers take the time to understand each child’s strengths and weaknesses and determine how each learns best. My daughter loves school and is doing very well. I feel that the preschool experience she had gave her a head start in her education. My children are always excited when they arrive to see their teachers every morning. When I pick them up I love to hear about their day and the fun they had. As a parent I could not ask for more. From the infant room to the afterschool program I would highly recommend the Little Red Caboose.

We have loved our time at the Little Red Caboose and are so grateful to have our daughter at the center. She has been there since she was four months old and the staff truly cares for her as though she is one of their own. On the day she walked on her own, for the first time, into the center, the director saw she was coming, threw open the door and cheered her on. The other teachers yelled with excitement from the windows. It was such a big and wonderful moment for her and the staff was just as excited as she was. That is how I feel they treat our daughter every day - they treasure the moments with her and are so excited every time she learns something new. They are committed to her growth, development, and to her happiness. I highly recommend the Little Red Caboose.

We have had both of our children at Little Red Caboose since they were 11 weeks old. Our oldest will soon be starting kindergarten and going to the clubhouse for after school. We have been very pleased with our experience there and would recommend LRC to anyone. The teachers have genuinely cared for our kids. They hire high quality teachers who are focused on each child’s development. The staff has been adaptable to the different situations and needs of our kids as they arose. We also value they have never hesitated in sharing their perspective with us about our kids when they thought it was needed or would help. Probably the best indicator is the opinions our kids have of the teachers. If you ask our kids about their teachers you’d find a big smile and genuine excitement.

Our two children have had such great, meaningful experiences at Little Red Caboose. Their teachers are nurturing and inspire the little ones to be curious about the world around them. Both our children love going to school and have made dozens of close friends and leaps and bounds in their learning. As a parent, it is a pleasure to be a part of such a supportive community with an always open line of communication between staff, the director, Lisa, and the other parents. Our daughter who is preparing for Kindergarten in the fall, is confident and beyond prepared thanks to her experience at LRC.

Little Red Caboose has been a part of our family for over 8 years. We've felt well supported and that our children have been well taken-care of in engaging and nurturing ways. Daily communication between the care-givers and parents is strong, activities are age-appropriate and safe, and they make an effort to keep busy kids moving in active and fun ways. Happy to be a part of this community.
