What Parents Say
Little Miracles Learning Center receives highly polarized reviews. The majority of positive reviews praise the caring, experienced staff, family-like atmosphere, and quality care for infants through pre-K. However, negative reviews raise serious concerns about staff accountability, communication failures regarding child injuries, inconsistent explanations about incidents, and lack of transparency.
This place feels like you are dropping your kid off at a family members. They are proactive about keeping classes healthy and are so understanding and good at what they do. Meals are provided which is rare with daycare! Great place to send your kid to if you have anxiety about religious-affiliated daycare! You'll notice most of the negative reviews are all from the same "incident" where someone got their family to all leave reviews to pull their score down (you'll see a similar time stamp on negative reviews because they happened at the same time). They also have a wide hours of operation window to support Gulfstream employees! We love little miracles 🥰
This review is in response to Aleah Calvert’s review. First off, I personally know all of the ladies that work there and all of them have the biggest heart. The reason her review was written is because she’s angry for her own actions. She was let go because she only showed up for work once or twice a week, was always on her phone, and called her boss and employees names. The point is, don’t always believe reviews! A lot of people tend to write reviews when they are Bitter due to their own actions. This daycare is indeed Well Ran with a group of ladies that LOVE their jobs, and trust me, if they didn’t, we all know childcare and teachers don’t get paid what they truly deserve. These ladies are there because their heart is in it for those babies!
My experience with Little Miracles has been amazing. I have twins and I feel that Amy and Annette have become apart of the family. From 2 years-prek the twins have loved coming. It’s only been a week since their last week now that they are headed to kindergarten and one of the twins has decided she must talk to Annette forever, meanwhile the other twin thinks Annette should be his teacher forever. This just shows the kind of relationship they built while attending. Thank you both so much. Also I can’t recall the pre-k teachers name but she was great as well. Highly recommend!
Someone who worked there made a review and I’m happy she did…AND FYI, calling my job won’t stop me from standing up for my son… When it comes to my son I DO NOT PLAY! I was hoping the reviews I read weren't accurate but unfortunately, they're correct ISSUES: A lack of experienced staff, staff not CPR trained, dishonest individuals, and a director who avoids accountability have created a challenging environment. My son was hurt, and they failed to inform me promptly. Then the staff lied that my son hurt himself, then lied that Miss Amy/ director knew about the incident, Miss Amy denied knowing of the situation, then another staff lied by saying a little girl scratched my son, then they said maybe it was a toy basket that had sharp metal edges that may have scratched him, but that wasn’t a scratch, someone hit him with something, or he hit his face on something, a scratch doesn’t get so swollen, and it’s so close to his eye. The director provided conflicting accounts and denied any knowledge. I allowed time for her to investigate and provide a truthful explanation, but she ignored the situation as if it were nothing. Accidents do happen because they're kids…Many times I got reports of my son being hurt, other kids scratched him so deep under his right eye to the side of his face very long and deep scratch, I didn't get too upset because I got a boo boo report, and an explanation, I received text and pictures from the daycare with my son's lip busted, I was nervous but not upset because I got an explanation and was informed on a timely manner, I was never the mom to go crazy when my child was hurt at the daycare, as long as I get a valid explanation, and the hurt is taken care of… because like I mentioned accidents happen they're kids playing. Accidents can't be prevented but carelessness can be prevented…The fact that they lied to me so easily, and attempted to shove the situation to the side, pushed me over the edge. Amy acted as if it was okay for my son to get hurt under their care and they all lied continuously. I shouldn't be upset that I was lied to multiple times, I shouldn't stand up for my one-year-old? I contacted DECAL on Monday, hoping to get the truth by any means necessary, and by Wednesday, I received a letter that my son was no longer welcome at the daycare, and that's okay because it was his last week since I already paid for that week, I was seeking another daycare I didn't feel comfortable leaving him in the hands of liars, I felt uneasy, so I had people randomly pop up and check on my son since I came to the understanding they're covering something by lying about what happened to my son.
This daycare needs to be investigated. It seems as though many children are not being treated equally with proper care. Too many children of African descent are starting to appear with abusive marks on their skin. How is this being allowed? When we select a daycare we as parents are trusting these caregivers to protect our babies. Our children can’t speak for themselves. It’s very bizarre when a director, teacher, or daycare provider as they classify themselves can’t recall what took place when an incident occurs for a child. Neither the less have an incident report created to document for the child. Than allows hours to pass for the incident and the mother isn’t made aware until the parent notice marks on her child during pickup time.
