While there are some good people that work here, the majority of them are 18-23 years old and have no prior experience. The director is also very young and not experienced. The owner is never around and does not know what’s going on and neither does the director who’s always in the back doing paperwork as she’s told me directly. My son has been going there for over a year when suddenly they started having problems with him that even my pediatrician had to get involved and call them and speak with the director. When my pediatrician called, the daycare told her that he was pretty much fine even though they were telling us the parents differently. Their class size for 3-5 year olds is over 20, about 23 when we pulled our son out. My pediatrician recommended me to pull him out of there as soon as possible as that class size is way too big and 3 year olds should be separated from 5 year olds. My pediatrician also said it sounded like they were all young and just don’t know what they’re doing. My son has also told me multiple things they have done to him example as he was sleeping (nap time) he would raise his hand and they would smack it back down. There was also a specific teacher there that I will not name who treated my son differently than the others and even another teacher admitted to seeing that mistreatment as well when I came to withdraw him on the last day!! My husband and I both personally witnessed this teacher being rude and disrespectful to him. Overall there were 2 teachers there who I liked and they both have left and when that happened he was immediately mistreated. He didn’t do anything to deserve that and being in way too big of a class size with 1 teacher he wasn’t being watched the way he should have. He would come home telling me stories of what happened that day and i really don’t recommend this daycare to anyone. Please avoid if you care about your child, even though the daily care is cheap, cheap isn’t always the best.
We’ve had our son enrolled here since he was 6 weeks old. Carie and her crew do an amazing job! We couldn’t find better care for our son if we tried.
