What Parents Say
Little Learners receives mixed reviews with most parents praising the director Ms. Erika and reporting positive learning outcomes and emotional development. However, serious concerns have been raised by some families regarding staff conduct, including yelling, physical aggression toward children, and mishandling of parent interactions.
Trusting a place to care for your child is always difficult! But choosing Ms. Erika and her team was the best decision I could have done! My daughter has learned so much and not only academically but also emotionally. We are sad to go but also excited as my baby girl will enter kindergarten dominating as she has learned so much already!
My family had several issues with certain staff members here. I had two separate family members say they would never pick up my child again Because of the way the facility treated them. One of the workers actually chased My child’s grandmother out of the facility and snatched her car seat back from her because she thought she would be stealing it with the child. They had to call me to sort it out, While I was at work. My daughter was great in the beginning and started randomly crying and doing things I’ve never seen her do. They would call for me to pick her up for her Misbehaving, As if there wasn’t a reason. She ended up telling her grandma that someone was pinching her. She randomly started misbehaving and crying constantly. While visiting one day, I noticed Kids misbehaving and actually throwing toys at each other, but the teacher was looking the other way and I had to let her know. My daughter has been very vocal and would tell me things. None of this was ever looked into instead she was dismissed from the program Because of her misbehaving mainly during nap time. I had struggled with the thought of putting her into another facility after she was dismissed because I couldn’t understand why she had all of a sudden behaved this way. She stayed with family for a while until I put her back in a preschool setting where she has been thriving and flourishing. This brought me back to think about what happened at this center. I personally would not recommend unless you have an older child. My child is 3.
My daughter has had a wonderful experience here, as well as us as parents. This was the first day care we’ve ever taken our daughter to. The director, Ms. Erika has always shown so much love, caring, and compassion. We were always updated with concerns and questions. they also helped with speeding up potty training for our 2yr old. Ms. Erika and her team are awesome and would recommend my loved ones to this facility anytime.
Ms. Erika was great along with some of the other staff. I've observed more than twice a staff member yell so loud I could hear her outside and once a staff member shoved a kid's hand and yelled at him. Their excuse was that this boy had behavior issues. I pulled my boys due to this unacceptable behavior. Ms. Erika claimed since last December she had been installing cameras and until June of this year, she didn't idk if she was still feeding the same story to people. Back in July 2023 an investigator contacted me about a report that was filed by someone and asked me about an incident where there was strong chemical use while the kids were in the facility. Not sure about the outcome but once again Ms Erika was a sweet woman and seemed to care for the kids. Too bad there wasn't more of her and Ms. Kim.
My children went here off and on and they constantly ask to go back. Ms. Erica -the director is such a sweet and understanding person. They really promote community here. I would highly recommend Little Learners to other families.
