I was hesitant about putting my children into childcare. I had interviewed about 7 other childcare centers before I found Little Learners. During the walk through they made me feel very welcome and answered any questions and concerns I may have had. My two youngest children have been attending Little Learners since December of 2022 and have Welcomed my oldest son who is special needs with open arms for the summer with no issues what’s so ever. They are very passionate about they care they provide and have worked with my changing work schedule. My daughter was enrolled into a preschool program with district 81 and Little Learners loved having my daughter when she would attended here as well for their preschool program. When her situation changed they welcomed her full time with no issues. There has been so much growth in all my children since attending. They love the staff and their friends here at Little Learners.

Nobody wants to leave a review until they are upset. Sure we all have our doubts or complaints about daycares. But I truly love this daycare! My daughter is not for the weak, and this daycare has worked with us so much. These people really do care about your kids. If you are having issues, talk to them. Follow the rules! They work with you if you work with them! ** my daughter has been at LL for a few years now!

My daughter loves this place! The staff all know her by name, we are happily greeted every visit, they play a variety of games and do crafts. Despite having their hands so full, I felt like the staff did an excellent job engaging with all their kids and seemed to genuinely care for my daughter. The staff also went out of their way to treat us parents from time to time, such as helping the kids make us gifts for mothers day, had professional photos of all the kiddos taken that we had the option to purchase and more!

just now NEW My son was kicked out with NO notice and NO proper paperwork whatsoever. No “sit down”, nothing. Naomi is very unprofessional and rude. Employees don’t stay here long, and it’s pretty obvious why. On several different occasions they would call me at 7am telling me they cannot take my son due to their own staffing issues- which I’ve never heard of a daycare doing. Ever. They have sent my son home early for ridiculous reasons more times that I can count. Not to mention how often my son would come home with bite marks, scratches etc that there was no hurts & hugs report for. And if there was it wouldn’t be presented to me until days later. Super unprofessional and ridiculous “daycare” and I would avoid at all costs. My son went to the mission location, but they’re “ran” by the same woman so. :)

I'm not generally someone to leave reviews, but we deeply regret allowing our son to stay in LL's care as long as we did, despite numerous red flags. From "smaller" issues like: not having secured entry, to billing and no flexibility, to our son being completely uncared for as he stood in his classroom doorway crying as we would try to leave (he is an easy going boy so this was VERY out of the norm for him), or to frequently picking him up from daycare in pull ups when he is completely toilet trained. To MUCH bigger issues like his teacher *flicking* him and telling him to "knock it off" during naps (something we found out about through his tears, on days that I would put him down for nap at home). Or his teacher not being able to find him during outdoor play, because while the staff was standing around talking, he and four additional toddlers had made their way into a gated and completely unattended storage side yard right off the parking lot, full of hoses and equipment that they could have been hurt on. Additionally, as many people have already stated in previous reviews: very, very unprofessional and short-tempered behavior from Naomi. While there was staff there that I adored — one bad apple truly will spoil the bunch. He was only in LL’s part-time, so we felt it would be best to keep him there solely for familiarity and routine but as I see the level of safety and security he feels in his new daycare, I realize that was a big, big mistake. My husband used to dread daycare drop offs, because we had never seen our happy-go-lucky, easy-going son so sad (and they will tell you this is normal) — but since his SECOND DAY since enrolling him in his new daycare, our son has hugged us goodbye and walked right to “circle time” not only without tears, but with excitement! He looks forward to going and has told us that his sweet teacher is the best part of his day. He comes home well rested, well behaved, and most importantly HAPPY! (Not to mention, he has never come home in pull ups and has not had ONE single potty accident because his teachers are fully present). The way this daycare cares for our son speaks volumes to how it should have always been — and what he deserved to have at Little Learner’s. It is a night and day difference. Don’t settle for this level of care for your babes.
