My daughter had a great experience at this school. She started when she was about 6 months and was there until she was 2 (we only left because we moved). The staff are amazing and provide a safe environment for the kids. They care about the children and teach them at their level. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place where your children can grow and learn in a safe and loving environment.
It is a work in progress could use some new playground equipment and some updates but the kids are our main priority and we do what we can to ensure their safety and ability to learn. All three of my kids attend Little Folks School from my youngest ten-month-old who has been there said she was 6 months to my 12 year old son. The teachers are great and the director is awesome.
My son went here for a week about a year and a half ago. He always came home with a dirty face and shirt, a full diaper, and asking for water as soon as I picked him up at the end of the day. I voiced my concerns and was told that it was because they "Didn't have a teacher for his age group at the moment". Why accept a child into a program and then tell me there is no instructor to truly supervise and take care of my son? He went four days and never returned. Stay away from here if you care about your child's well being in any ways, shape or form.
I just spent an afternoon in a park at which this group had brought their kids to play. Probably about twenty to twenty five kids. I watched the adults caring for them take cover in the shade and talk while the children played in a stream about 100 yards away. They proceeded to throw very large rocks at a pace that amazed me that no one was seriously injured. When it was finnaly time to go, one of the instructors came over and started hollaring at all of them to get out of the stream. The kids listened well, but just threw all of the plastics cups they had used to play with on the ground as the adult caring for them just watched. Later my wife and I walked over an cleaned up their mess. I write this to let anyone thinking of using academy to be certain your child doesn’t need close supervision around water and not to expect any manners to be taught.
The lighting in the room is relaxing, the children look very comfortable and the woman watching them are very kond and pleasant. I'm sure it'll feel homey to anyone.
