Little Folks Day Care INC.

We decided to keep our child we took guardianship of here since the child has always had a great experience here. When the switch was made, Salina and her staff were thorough and guided my husband and I every step of the way, including making changes I requested in meeting the child’s needs. Not sure of the recent experience with another family who stated they didn’t check ID because this was NOT my experience! They told me exactly what their policy is and carried their own policy out with our daughter, my husband and the child’s grandparent who picks them up on different days! I would not bring our little anywhere else but here!!!!

My son LOVES this school!! I love all the staff as well. I am a helicopter mom and They take such good care of my kid that I never worry about him when he’s there. There have been times I’ve missed him or he’s missed me and they allow me to FaceTime him. They send me photos of him often and update me as well. If I ever have a question about anything they are very responsive. I also love that they adjust to each kids needs in the classroom. We had a problem with a kid picking on my son. They brought it to my attention and handled the situation. They have tons of fun activities and events throughout the year and we just love it here! I could go on and on for days. I don’t expect perfection, but knowing they love every kid that goes there like their own brings me so much peace in sending my kid to school here!

My first experience with daycare was here. My 2 year old went here for one day. The staff had never met anyone besides me, but handed my child off to my significant other without checking his license or anything. As soon as he walked in they said “are you here for —“ and he said “yes.” He could’ve been a COMPLETE STRANGER deciding that my child was the one they wanted to take that day. The safety protocols and practices severely need work. Not only that, my child was super thirsty and hungry when returning home. I understand that sometimes children refuse to eat, but my child doesn’t refuse food all day, nor have they ever refused water.

Do not bring your kid here. Anyone who knows your child's name can come pickup that child. Mom dropped our son off for his first day, and I the boyfriend, went to pick him up after work. I asked for my son and they just handed him over. No ID check, no calling the parent for permission or approval. I asked the lady at the front, "dont you need to see my ID.?" And she said no, and then proceeded to say "well ill check just in case." On top of that, our kid came home and ate 3 plates of mac n cheese without hesitation and two entire cups of fruit punch and one half cup of water. Our kid does not act like that normally so I am led to believe they didn't care about feeding him. We asked him what he had to eat today and he couldn't give us an answer and normally hes a chatter box. If you're someone concerned about your child's heath and safety while you're at work, then this is not the place. Anyone could've taken our kid. They never even asked my name. As soon as I walked in the blood they asked "you're here for so and so right?" Again, anyone who knows your kids name can come pickup your kid and I do not advise using this place as a daycare

Our two children have been at Little Folks for almost two years and we couldn't be happier. Our son can be a handful and they are Wonderful at redirection and reward. And my baby has been there since she was 12 weeks old. It was hard for me, they understood and gave me updates through the day. They really care it's such a relief as a parent.
