This daycare has been amazing for our family. The teachers are so kind, loving, and patient. They really take the time to get to know each child and make sure they feel happy and safe. Our child loves going every day and always comes home with a big smile. The director is also wonderful. She is easy to talk to, very helpful, and always there when we have questions. You can tell she really cares about the kids and the families. I feel so lucky to have found this place. It’s clean, fun, and full of love. We trust the staff completely and know our child is in good hands. Thank you to the teachers and the director for everything you do!
I can’t express how thankful I am for this daycare and the incredible team that runs it. From day one, they made both me and my child feel welcomed, supported, and safe. As a parent, leaving your child in someone else’s care can be nerve-wracking — but here, I’ve had complete peace of mind every single day. The staff is not only warm and nurturing but also very professional and attentive. They truly take the time to get to know each child’s personality, needs, and routine. My child has grown in so many ways — socially, emotionally, and academically. They’ve helped with everything from potty training to picky eating and even supported us with some developmental concerns we had. They noticed things early and communicated right away, which helped us get services in time. That alone meant the world to us. They truly go above and beyond — this is not just childcare, it’s a second home. If you’re looking for a daycare where your child will be loved, supported, and given the chance to thrive, THIS is the place. Thank you to every staff member who has made this journey so special for our family. We’re forever grateful. I seen bad reviews and you know what you can’t make everyone happy some people are just miserable but they have made me happy . My child will be going to kindergarten knowing how to read write and spell . The director has been nothing but great I will always appreciate her and her staff
If I could give this center ZERO STARS I would. I have battled with making this review for a while. Mostly because I hate the idea of negative impacts on a black owned woman business but when it comes to taking care of children especially other peoples kids transparency is KEY. This business would be a much better, more pleasant place WITHOUT Ms.Nerissa. She is unpleasant and not a joy for anyone to encounter. It’s in fact such a bad choice of business to have her being the first person you encounter when entering even to inquire about information. Not to mention she is unnecessarily rough and very “handsy” with the kids. My child was PHYSICALLY HARMED here under her direct care and the only reason I didn’t call the police was because she is a single mom and I was thinking about what would happen to her child. Nonetheless I withdrew my children IMMEDIATELY and they never returned to this place. Even with time passing I’m still very hurt that I entrusted my children to this facility and was let down in the most horrific way. My kids often looked dirty and in distress at pick up like no one cared for them all day. I was broken hearted. We were enrolled in the school for LESS THAN 90 days. I saw all I needed to see by that point. I was begged by the owner to stay, that I had beautiful and wonderful children that they “loved” and apologies were plentiful. But no apology can replace the unsafe feeling left in my heart and mind. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Not as so long as Nerissa is in charge. It’s unfortunate because the other staff is bearable. But she is an unpleasant, dismissive, insensitive, unfriendly individual. She should never be working with children. It’s clear she hates her job.
I was initially referred to this Pre-K/Kindergarten school by a friend who spoke very highly of it. Based on that recommendation, I enrolled my daughter, believing she would be in good hands. Unfortunately, after passing by the school with her several times, my daughter opened up to me about how horribly she was treated during her time there — something I had absolutely no idea about while it was happening. Hearing her experience broke my heart. When I asked her why she didn’t tell me sooner, she explained that she was scared she would get into trouble for speaking up. I had to explain to her that no child should ever feel afraid to speak about being treated unfairly, especially in a place where they are supposed to feel safe, supported, and nurtured. While I want to make it clear that Ms. Erma was wonderful and a true bright spot, sadly the same cannot be said about the rest of the staff. Knowing now what my daughter endured, I would not recommend trusting this school with your children. No parent should have to find out too late that their child was being mistreated under their care.
My daughter has been in this school from the time she was 2 years. The teachers are great. They have a genuine care for the children that attend the school. It is hard to find a school where they actually care about the kids and treat your kids as if they were their own. She graduated this year. CLASS OF 2017! THANX!! I WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND LITTLE CHILDREN PLACE TO NEW PARENTS!
