Our son attended Little Children Schoolhouse for two years in the Infant and Toddler programs, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Our son was at LCSh from 1yo to 2.5yo and the whole family loved it! We are very sad to leave after moving away from Brookline. The teachers are incredibly supportive, caring, and have seemingly endless energy. Also, the majority of the staff have very long tenures with LCSh, which we value. The leadership team is also fantastic and helped make our experience even better. We highly recommend!
LCSH is exceptional. We knew from the moment we toured LCSH that it was special place. What stood out to us from the start was how genuinely happy the teachers seemed to take care of the children. The school itself is large and has many spaces for little ones to explore and be entertained. Our son was there for about 1.5 years and he thrived. The teachers are true caregivers that will nurture your child. They share a curriculum on a monthly basis so you can see just how proactive the teachers are in educating your child- they even go on field trips! This is not just a daycare, this is a real school and a home! In a day when trendy approaches to education (Montessori, Emilio Reggiano etc etc) we really enjoyed their common sense approach. We don't have enough words to say how truly wonderful Lissy and all the teachers at LCSH are. We will miss them dearly and so will our son.
We feel so lucky to have had our boys at Little Children’s Schoolhouse for four wonderful years. We can’t recommend it highly enough. The teachers and staff were incredibly kind and caring, and the classrooms imbued with warmth. The curriculum was thoughtful and engaging, helping our kids grow in every way. Our kids also loved Monica’s music class on Wednesdays — it was so much more than just a sing-along! Our boys are ready for their next chapter, but we’ll truly miss this special place.
We were so happy with Little Children Schoolhouse. We choose to move our son from a daycare that sold to a national franchise, and became extremely corporate, and we’re looking for something that brought him back into an environment filled with love personalization, and a family feel-atmosphere. we knew immediately when we toured little children’s school house with Clara that this place was all of that and more. It truly felt like a family. You can tell the teachers directors and owners really care for the children and for each other this made us feel like our son was moving to a special place. My son graduated this year and still talks about wanting to visit and missing his friends and teachers, which speaks for itself. We are truly grateful to Gladys, Clara and all of the teachers for all they do!
