I want to compliment the safety of this outstanding daycare. This center and staff takes safety precautions very important from entering, all day in between and leaving. This center is one of the strictest my child has in and I love it. All patents, visitors and resource workers are all treated the same when it comes to the safety of children by the Golden Girls and owners. No sick child is allowed to stay at the center, unlimited nutritional food choices, extra resources for the children and wisdom of knowledge from the staff to the parents. To future parents except the following a mask is required, multiple children if one is sick a doctor's note is required for all, food allergies, children are only released to whose is on the application no call-in pick ups and the educational standards are well above. They follow all requirements by the state, city and federal guidelines that pertain to the safety of the staff and children. I applaud the outstanding work and enrichment that Bundles of Joy Academy gives to me and other parents who trust that our children are safe. Responding to Tierra as a Parent.

Responding back to Terra Good Evening Hope you and your family is feeling better. Sorry about the unfortunately events that occurred while you were sick. Staff and parents work really hard to keep our children safe and healthy. Streptococcal is highly contagious and recommended for the home to be tested. Especially with smaller children when sharing is common. Ms.Cynthia and other staff Volunteers to help me with my Children. You’re correct it’s no one’s business but I don’t mind sharing. I’m my kids biggest advocate and I love educating people about kids with disabilities. Staff does a great job with following iep recommendations even hiring outside resources with accommodating your child’s needs. Also curbside pick up is not recommended. Bundles of joy paved the parking lot just for y’all. If you need assistance with your elc transition please ask for Kristina. I would be happy to assist. Have a wonderful Easter Weekend

I highly recommend the center only because the teachers are excellent with the children. This was my 3 kids, 1st time attending daycare and we haven't had any issues until March 26th, 2024. The owner, Renita, is highly unprofessional in the way she handles and deals with people. I say this because I received a call from baby #1's teacher on March 25th, saying I needed to pick her up because she wasn't eating and not participating, that's fine. I picked my baby up expeditiously, and scheduled her a sick appt with her pediatrician that same day, my baby tested positive for strep. So I had in my plans to keep her home for a few days until she was better and on antibiotics for a couple days. March 26th, I dropped my other 2 children off ( prior to this there was never anything said to me about if 1 child was sick, I had to keep all 3 of my children home, Never) she picks and chooses when to enforce certain rules, so if you have time for that, enroll your child/children. About 15 minutes after dropping my 2 younger babies off, I received a call stating I needed to pick them up because they had been exposed to my oldest child, what??? I had a appt. And wasn't able to return right away. While at my appt. I received a call from the center, after answering I realized it was Renita, she said to me, " Why would you bring these other 2 kids here knowing they had been exposed?" Very confrontational and unprofessional. I responded by saying they had no symptoms, no runny noses, no sneezing, absolutely nothing. So why would I not? I eventually hung up in her face because she wanted to go back and forth, I have no time for that. I picked my other 2 kids up, and she stated to me, they could not return until after they'd been seen by a doctor, I was not able to have them seen until the next day. My youngest babies medicaid was not showing in the system, so I had to pay $155 out my pocket for my children to been seen, and for them both to test negative for strep. I called the center ahead of time to make them aware I was on the way with doctors notes. Upon arriving, she was ready to argue. She stated to me that we needed a conference to determine whether or not my kids would continue to attend her center. She stated to me, " why would you want your children to attend a center where I've been disrespecting the owner". The day prior She called my phone confrontational and disrespected me, when I brought up that fact, instead of apologizing for offending me, which she would have received one back, she told me her being disrespectful was common sense. I've never had any issues with this woman for the 2 almost 3 years my children had attended "HER" center. She stated that my oldest was sick the week before, if she had observed that, why was nothing said to me, when my baby was home she showed zero signs of an illness or i would have scheduled her a appt right away, as ive done in the past. Anyway, I wasn't attending a conference/meeting, I've already missed so much I've had to do dealing with her mess, and made up rules she pulls out her of behind. 03/27/2024, I called ELC to get the procedure for withdrawing from this center Renita, has a big ego and I have zero patience in dealing with someone like that. I have a 1yr old son, the teacher for my 1yr old seemingly doesn't stick up for herself because Renita has her bring her grandkids out, while her daughters sits in her car, she has Ms Cynthia strap her babies in car seats and bring out bags. It's none of my business but Who is watching my son while the daughter gets curbside pickup. One day for pickup my son had a nice size cut on his face, they said he was hit by a door while in the 2-3 yr old class. My son just turned 1 in January, why is he around a bunch of 2 and 3 yr olds?? There was one instance where I was dropping my kids off, and was parked in Renita's way, this ratchet woman proceeded to blow her horn at me at least 3 times to move my vehicle, while I was dropping my kids off. A hot mess.

The ladies at Bundles of Joy daycare are the best! They are extremely accommodating by providing transportation for my nephew, 2yrs, and other kids that are in her area. She has good nutritious food for the kids and when I come back to pick him up, he is fed and full of joy.
