I was excited upon enrollment to be at this daycare. The teachers were very sweet and loving. In a time lapse of 2-3 months my child was bit 12 times. I kept asking what my child was doing to provoke it if anything but no staff ever spoke up about it being my child’s behavior. Regardless a child shouldn’t get bit 12 times or Sometimes twice a week breaking skin and leaving marks. Upon speaking to the director she was extremely rude, told me it was my child’s fault essentially, and asked if I even read the reports or just signed them. When I actually had copies it showed 8/10 times the other child wanted what mine was playing with. Two more bites came and we inquired about pulling him without the two week waiting period due to his safety. The owner agreed which we were thankful for, but in that same email said my child is a bully (actually used that word). I like to add my child is 1. From what I gathered from speaking to staff the turnover rate is high due to owners/director acting this way with their own staff.

Our experience here started well, but ended poorly. Our child’s pediatrician had written a note for dietary changes that were not followed until after an investigation by the USDA food program prompted by my call with questions. Another incident involving my other child resulted in him being sent home despite a medical provider clearing him to return to daycare. We were told we could not bring him back until we took him to a specialist. Upon getting cleared by a specialist, the owner then completed yet another exam on our child before allowing him to be left. Children are often sent home for “suspected” illnesses despite having no other symptoms. Individual family circumstances and situations are not considered, and decisions are made outside of the specified policies. Many of the teachers are nice, but I was bothered that there was little effort to get to know me or my family. If you are considering this childcare facility, and your child(ren) have any medical issues, just know that the owner/director is very resistant to making accommodations or following doctor’s orders (including a doctor’s note that states the child is able to return to the center).
