We had a phenomenal experience at Little Bee! Our daughter started when she was only 18 months old, and despite our parental anxieties of first child, first preschool, LB was a great success. The teachers are fantastic - even today, years later, our daughter asks whether she can go back and visit them. The curriculum, including bilingual immersion and exploration of the Presidio, makes me wish I went to preschool there. Thank you Sarra (the school director) for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Little Bee is an incredible preschool, and I could not recommend it enough to prospective parents. Our son has attended the Funston (Presidio) location since he was 2 years old. Each class has 3 main teachers + floating teachers, who all care for the kids with kindness and empathy. The campus' location in the Presidio creates an idyllic and beautiful environment for the kids - they go outside to explore nature every morning and we get sent daily pictures and videos of their adventures. We love the Mandarin immersion aspect, and our son is fully bilingual thanks to the teachers' efforts. Sarra, the director of Little Bee, runs a tight and efficient ship. The involved PTA organizes many community events, such as monthly playdates, Easter Egg Hunts, an annual Camp Out, Pumpkin Picking, Santa's Brunch, parents' nights out and more across the Funston and Lombard locations. Beyond just a preschool, this is also a supportive, caring, welcoming community of families and we have met many wonderful friends through Little Bee.
Best decision ever made! They are the cleanest and most organized daycare/preschool we have ever enrolled our son. We were worried about full day for him but little bee has a very thoughtful way of easing the little one into their school program. The teachers are very attentive and communicate with us daily. We get daily photos of the classes day. We get lunch menus, snack menus, daily schedules and also weekly curriculum. Our son absolutely loves little bee and look forward to going everyday!
My 2 year old daughter recently started at Little Bee and we love it! The teachers/caretakers engage the children on a variety of topics and they have arts and crafts activities everyday. The kids also spend time exploring outside in the Presidio everyday. They provide snacks 5 days a week and lunch 4 days a week, and have been introducing potty training to my daughter. The teachers share photos of the kids everyday and communicate with the parents regularly. The PTA is really active and I have immediately felt welcomed into this community.
