Little Acorn Montessori Academy

I’m so glad I found this gem of a place for my daughter, who happily attended from 20 to 29 months. We’re moving to another city, so I’m very sad to part ways. Since starting at Little Acorn, her learning has accelerated so quickly (she’s now speaking in complex sentences and it never fails to amaze me)! I still remember touring the school and being impressed by how calm and engaged the children were during circle time. I was drawn to their Montessori-inspired approach, and the teachers truly bring it to life through thoughtful, hands-on activities. My daughter thrived here and even learned to potty train with the staff’s consistent guidance and care. Despite having a larger class, I always felt she received the personal attention she needed. The school also goes above and beyond to create a super engaging environment—they celebrate each child’s birthday, invite special guests like firefighters, and host fun events. We’re greatful for the time we got to spend here and will miss Little Acorn so much!

As many parents typically are, we were looking for the best place for our 18 month old to spend most of his weekdays. Attention to quality care and a warm and clean environment were at the top of our list. We are so happy to have found Little Acorn Montessori. Our son started right when he turn 18 months and adjusted really quickly thanks to the care of the amazing teachers in the toddler classroom. Our son loves the practical life learning and is always smiling when we go to pick him up. Little Acorn's lunch program is also such great for parents who want to have a fairly healthy and easy option. Everything is prepared in house daily. We really appreciate the very consistent updates on the Procare app. The teachers are logging every diaper change/check, how much of their meal and snacks they eat, how long they nap for and we usually receive at least one picture of our son daily. We can't recommend Little Acorn enough!

Little Acorn Montessori has been an incredible part of our family’s life. My son started part-time in 2022 at 26 months, and we later enrolled our daughter at 18 months. Both thrived academically and emotionally, especially in the Primary class with Ms. Edina, who is truly a gem. We’ve continued through TK/Pre-K and are very happy with our decision. Ms. Wathsala and Ms. Evelyn clearly care deeply about their students. The hot lunch program is a huge bonus, Ms. Genie’s cooking is loved by the kids and makes parenting so much easier. With flexible drop-in days, early drop-off, and after-school care, Little Acorn has been a godsend for our family. We truly love our Little Acorn community.

Both my kids have been attending Little Acorn since they were 1 1/2 years old. I simply cannot recommend this school enough! The staff genuinely care about your child and are dedicated to making sure the kids are growing/learning.

We have our son at Little Acorn since April 2022, he started at 19 months and is now 3 years and 3 months old! We have now to move to a different city next month, so we have to change preschools, otherwise our son would have stayed at Little Acorn until entering elementary ! He loves his teachers since he started, he made so many friends, the parents were all so friendly too! We also had several birthday events outside of the school which felt like having a nice community of parents. We loved this school, the infrastructure is great, the classes are always tidy and organized, they have an amazing and very spacious playground. Our son has so much fun there! They are open from 7a to 6p which is very convenient for busy parents like us. We always had a good communication with the teachers and the director Ms Susie, they are understanding, communicative and available. My husband and I recommend this school to any prospective parent! Our son and we will miss this school!
