Lionheart Children'S Academy

Buyer beware. My daughter suffered a serious injury at Lionheart Children’s Academy at Springcreek on 6/23/25 that resulted in her front teeth being knocked out The injury happened during a game where children of different sizes were allowed to run full speed at each other. In my opinion, this creates an unsafe and preventable risk in a childcare environment. Watching my daughter struggle to eat, speech changes, live in pain, and emotionally cope for more than a month was heartbreaking. As a parent, it was devastating to see her suffer from something I believe could have been avoided with better safety policies and supervision. No other child should have to go through this, so I asked whether the game would be discontinued after the incident. I was told it would continue because “the kids love the game.” I found this response deeply concerning given the seriousness of my child’s injury. I felt the situation was handled with a lack of compassion and an emphasis on protecting the organization rather than prioritizing child safety. Parents should carefully consider safety and supervision before enrolling here.

Relocating from Jacksonville, NC to Garland, TX was terrifying. Not knowing what childcare centers were good and which weren’t. I knew that I wanted my children in a faith based center. Somewhere that they were going to be loved and safe. I found that here at Lionheart! All of my children’s teachers go above and beyond to make sure my children get a great education and incorporating God into their lives. I love the daily pictures I receive and the stories they tell me at the end of the day. From day 1 to present, I have watched my children blossom and grow into these beautiful, smart, Christ-loving little people. With the help of Lionheart, my oldest was prepared for Kindergarten. My Pre-K’er is ready for Kindergarten and my Preschooler is well on his way to also being ready. I could not have done it without them! Thank you Lionheart!

My daughter started at Lionheart when she was 12 months old, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. She absolutely adored her caregivers in the infant class, and the transition to the toddler class was a wonderful milestone. Although she faced some initial challenges, the teachers were incredibly supportive, and we quickly noticed positive changes in her independence and habits at home. The notification app and consistent updates give us so much peace of mind, and we’ve always felt confident that she’s safe and well cared for. She’s made great friends, and we love that she’s learning Christian values, which are very important to our family. The director, teachers, and staff are all kind, warm, and genuinely happy to be there. Lionheart has truly set the bar high for what a daycare and school should be. We highly recommend it!

I only have good experiences with them ! I can’t say anything bad about them , this place it’s JUST AWESOME My only concern is the playground fence that is very open and since is outside I feel fence should be taller for kids due to safety issues , is very open to public when kids are outside playing . But this place it’s clean, I love The way they communicate through the day from the app with each parent , including pics from our kids , And the staff treat the kids very nice And my toddler is learning a lot thanks to them !

We’ve had two boys go through Lionheart from ages 2-6 and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made. They both loved every teacher they’ve had and the directors know all the kids by name. The school communicates clearly and frequently. The kids are well fed, the school is always clean and organized, and both my boys were fully prepared for kindergarten. We love Lionheart!
