As a military family, we were a little nervous about how our twin four-year-old daughters would adjust to a new environment after moving from Alabama to Virginia. From the very first day at Lincolnia Academy, our worries were put to rest. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared for our girls. They created such a loving and supportive atmosphere that our daughters looked forward to school each morning and came home excited to tell us all about their day. We especially appreciated the bilingual instruction, which gave them exposure to a second language in a natural and fun way. The variety of learning approaches kept them engaged and opened their eyes to so many new experiences. Both of our girls made wonderful friends and bonded closely with their teachers, whom they already miss dearly. Lincolnia Academy didn’t just provide a safe and nurturing learning environment. It gave our whole family peace of mind during a major transition. This school is a gem. We had our two daughters here during our time in Northern Virginia. It was a time of transition for our 2 year old, and our baby started daycare at Lincolnia Academy at 4 months old. The warmth, love, and care that the teachers and staff at Lincolnia provide is unmatched. Our toddler absorbed so much Spanish in a very short time period. The school often had fun events, and the outdoor space is truly beautiful. The small class sizes meant that every teacher knew both our girls very well, and always greeted them with a big smile. As a parent, I cannot recommend this school enough!
My son attended Lincolnia Preschool, and his experience was truly wonderful. The teachers are not only dedicated but also incredibly caring, always attentive to each child's needs. The playground is spacious and safe, providing a perfect environment for my son to enjoy his playtime. The education was top-notch, especially when it came to helping him learn Spanish. He misses his teachers dearly, which reflects the love and positive environment that made his time there so special.
The best decision I made as a parent! Lincolnia AEL has been a warm, loving, fun, and educational place for my daughter. She started at a year old and she’s thriving. She is excited to go to school everyday and has learned so much from school. The staff care deeply and are steady.
