Lighted Window Preschool INC.

I just finished 6 years at Lighted Window and have watched both of my girls blossom at this lovely school. Every teacher my girls had has been caring and I've never once worried that my girls were in good hands. The community at this school has also been incredible. We have made lifelong family friends and I am so grateful for our time here. Reading the one star comments here is shocking because that has not been my experience and I think many other families at the school would agree. No school is perfect and things tend to happen between children, but the teachers at the school are wonderful and my kids have always been happy to be at Lighted Window. I will truly miss it!

I had all three of my boys go through Lighted Window Preschool and we loved our time there. My boys still talk about how much they loved the food, playground and their teachers. I loved all of the art they brought home focusing on the different letters of the alphabet and how well they prepared them for kindergarten socially and emotionally.

This is a day care, not a preschool. We had to pull our kids out after some time passed for us as parents to pick up on things. Teacher tenure is short, which means quality of care is low and they constantly churn through new teachers. They do not clean the place as they should, so my kids were getting sick much more than they should. They advertise organic food but it's a basic sandwich and chips, and they give junk food like popsicles and gummies every day. Basically sugar overload to keep them happy, at the expense of a sugar down at home with terrible moods. Teachers are found scrolling on their phones or taking to each other and not looking after kids. All in all just not the quality you'd expect from a great town like La Canada. All these reviews are dated and quality is not what it may have been years ago. You can do better with other alternatives!

The teachers are amazing and so thoughtful. Our 5 year old son started about 1 year ago after we moved cross country and they couldn’t have been more accommodating or welcoming of him and our family. In his 2nd year they continue to raise the bar with consistency, care and education and we’re so thankful for Lighted Window and all their teachers and staff.
