Light Years Ahead Child Care Center

My experience at Light Years Ahead Academy has been very positive. You can truly feel that the children are the priority. The teachers are caring, attentive, and communicate with me every day about how my child is doing. The environment is clean, organized, and they always have creative activities for the children.

I can’t say enough good things about Light Years Ahead. A couple of years ago we moved to Florida from Wisconsin with our 5 daughters. In Wisconsin, we were at our same daycare for 12 years so we were hoping to find one similar in Florida. One that focuses on social skills, provides unconditional support and love as our littles are discovering who they are, and one that helps them prepare for elementary. It took us over 6 months to find Light Years Ahead and we are so grateful we did. Both the owners and the teachers have been so great to our daughter - helping her grow and develop as a person. She is now starting kindergarten and is ready. Academically, she knows her alphabet, can count almost to 100, knows how to write her name, and is just starting to read as she sounds out the words. But even more importantly - she was treated as an individual and they adapted to a style that worked best for her. We so highly recommend Light Years Ahead and are grateful for the time our daughter spent there.

I have 3 kids my oldest is in school , I have a 3 and 1 year old I am also a single mom. As parents we worry about our kids all the time whoever they’re with…. But when I tell you I don’t have to worry about my kids while they are at school I can CONFIDENTLY say I don’t have to worry about my kids… I know they are SAFE and sssooooo LOVED it really makes me emotional 😭. The owners are FANTASTIC! When I found this school and I called I had spoken to Anita (one of the owners) she of course asked if I liked to come in for a tour, I had told her yes ! But I lived all the way in west Palm but that I was visiting Orlando for the weekend , she told me that they would open on Saturday so I could come see the center, that right there to me was a green flag. Honestly , they went out their way to give me tour. The day of the tour I met the other owner which is her husband Mr. Rishie and I met ms Maria … best tour I’ve had, they were both very informative and very open to accommodating my situation . I couldn’t appreciate it enough honesty they really don’t know how much it has helped. This school is not just a school but as they say it’s a family. The teachers? My 1 year old daughter lights up and smiles from ear to ear with her teachers and anybody else there 😂 she is happy when she gets dropped off and is happy when I pick her up. MS AALIYAH ?! Ms Aaliyah by far is not just an amazing teacher but a BEAUTIFUL and LOVING human, my son ADORES his ms Aaliyah, I love that she not just loves my 3 year old but all my kids. Ms Maria ? Oh ms Maria 🩷 I love hearing the way she talks to the kids, so respectful and soft spoken. This school puts my mind at ease while I’m working , they are very big on communication, they update their apps with pictures and videos constantly … I LOVE when I get updates while I’m at work it truly makes my days better. I can’t thank the owners enough for creating such a safe , fun and caring second home for our kids .. words really can not describe how thankful I am for every single person who works here . From the mommy of the Lunas thank you ❤️, knowing my babies are safe is one less thing I have to worry about while I work, and doing all the running around, I truly feel blessed I found you guys ✨.

The staff is so nurturing and amazing! I’m glad my 4 year old is attending Light years ahead academy! Best school and team!

I can say I’ve had it very good experience, taking my son to this daycare. His previous one he would get sick a lot have a lot of diaper rashes, teaches a change a lot, and he started exhibiting behavior outbursts. All that stopped when he was switched to this daycare. Here it felt more like all the staff cared for us like family starting with the original owners and ultimately to new owners continuing that tradition. My son overall was happy here. I felt like he was taken care of. Only reason why I stopped taking my son here is because we moved too far from lya. I’m a longer able to take him as well as my son starting kindergarten. My son was in Light Years Ahead probably since 2022. Everyone was excellent most notably Ms Lina and ms Savannah who were with him everyday. I’m so comfortable saying that he was in a healthy environment conducive to learning, and he did learn a lot. Some parents get concerned that daycare don’t have the curriculum that pre-k in public schools have however I feel most important is the child is cared for and the environment allows for learning and this was the case here. Personally I would definitely recommend this center.
