What Parents Say
Kinderoo Learning Academy receives overwhelmingly positive reviews praising staff compassion and individualized care, particularly for children with special needs. However, one recent negative review raised serious concerns about handling of inappropriate behavior between children and lack of parent communication. The facility's Google rating of 3.3/5 does not reflect the individual review scores, suggesting limited review volume.
Dont take your child there if they have a speech delay or if you have a little girl or if your child has any sort of problem to where they need a little bit more attention because you will not receive it there my daughter was going there up until yesterday on Tuesday, a little boy told my daughter to kiss his private parts The daycare gave one parent a report didn’t tell me and I got a text message from a random parent inform me about the incident yesterday when I went to the Daycare that’s when they wrote the report about the incident that happened Tuesday. My daughter is three years old and should not. be subjected to those types of the things at Daycare the Daycare teacher that was in the room was alerted by one of the little boys siblings. They called the other parent, but did not notify me. They did not make an incident report up until I came to the daycare and I called the police in DCF yesterday at one point it was a good day Daycare the worst day Daycare ever.if you try to get in contact with the daycare owner you’re gonna have to look his number up on sunbiz he never answered your phone calls or text messages the daycare director that’s there now if you ask for her to contact him, she’s gonna tell you flat out to your face no and refuse to contact him
During my time as a guest at Kinderoo, I had the opportunity to speak with all of the staff members. It was clear from our conversations that they truly love the children and are passionate about what they do.
My child has been attending Kinderoo for 2 years. She loves the teachers because they show her kindness and treat her lovingly. Like any parent / teacher relationship communication and accountability is important and each time I communicate with teachers and director, we work together. Ms.Melissa, Ms. Debbie, and Ms. Kristen are my babies favorites and I see why they are AWESOME.
I honestly don't know where to begin. I am a mom of 5 and have never been ok with putting my kids in a daycare setting, i was, and am, a protective mom and always wanted in-home daycare. I was in a position where i needed care for my 2 year old while I worked. My 2 yr old is on the autistic spectrum and has a microdeletion on chromosome, which has posed challenges for him. I went to several daycares in the area and well-known ones. All turned him away. He is not a difficult child, but he had texture issues and wouldn't eat many foods, nonverbal, and other health issues that even with a Dr's note, these daycares wouldn't accept him. I came across kinderoo. I went in and toured the facility and expressed my concerns to the director, melissa. She was able to convince me he would be ok and they would be willing to work with him. Given his issues, she started him off with 1 yr Olds to see how he would do. He had early steps therapy come to the daycare to do their sessions, and that was never an issue. There was a transition period with him for about the first month and a half, and every morning, they would take him with care and would calm him down. They even had patience with him on his rough days. They have been fantastic with redirecting him. He grew and excelled so much in just the first couple of months being there they moved him up to his age group, the 2 yr Olds. His 1s teacher, ms. Kristen and 2's teacher Ms Debi have been phenomenal with him as well as all the other staff members. They treat him like one of their own, and as a mom, I couldn't ask for a better daycare to bring my child too. My son loves it here, loves the teachers and staff members, and loves his friends he's made here, even the fish in the fish tank as you walk in. I have had personal issues going on, and with communication with Ms. Melissa, she understood and was very accommodating during that time. The daycare is kept very clean and organized. I've never had an issue with my son coming home dirty, and trust me, he sure can make a mess, 🤦♀️, but even on these days, they have been patient with him. It is on a side street so there isn't much traffic and I love that. They have a large play area and toys, of which I know my son loves. I literally have no complaints, and I couldn't be more grateful for finding this daycare and the care they give my son. If you're looking for a daycare that will treat your child as one of their own and has an extreme amount of patience, this is definitely the daycare for you.
If I can give this place a 0, I would. My child has been going to this pre school for 3 days. Upon picking him up today, I've witnessed something that no parent should come across. MRS. WANDA was yelling loudly that her supervisor heard her from across the room. She was yelling a helpless 3 or 4 year old directly at her face. Witnessing this, I immediately took my son and withdrew him from this school. MRS. WANDA needs to learn how to have patients when it comes to this business; especially when it comes to children. I would never recommend this school to anyone, this is a place of torment and mistreatment. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Parents reading this review if you want the best for your child; this isn't the place.
