Light The Bay Preschool

Our 3.5 year old has been at Light the Bay for a few months now, and we are very happy to have found such a welcoming and convenient place. From the very beginning the staff was extremely supportive, and helped us get ready to send our child there, which was especially important because we were moving to Pittsburg from overseas. The environment is very welcoming and our child quickly made friends with the others. The pickup and dropoff times are flexible and we have no complaints about anything related to the logistics, policies or activities. If there is any point of criticism it would be that unlike our previous day care (we have never attended another preschool) there is no app available with the ability to see photos or messages from the teachers, so it can be difficult to keep up to date with daily activities. However, the teachers are always able to give more info and feedback if you see them at pick-up time, and they occasionally can send photos during the day (which was very assuring when our child was first starting), so this is not a problem at all. The staff at Light the Bay is fantastic: it is clear they prioritize the growth and safety of our child and we are very happy to be there.

We are so thankful for Light of the Bay Preschool! Our son absolutely loves going to school every day. When we get home, he always tells us how much fun he had and that he misses his teachers. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care for the children really shows, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Since starting at Light of the Bay, we’ve noticed so much growth in. He’s become more social, he’s learning his colors, some of his ABCs and numbers, and even understands a bit of Spanish now. It’s clear that the program is not only fun, but also helping him build important skills. We also really appreciate how well the preschool communicates with us about Enzo’s day. We always feel informed and connected, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing he is in such a loving and supportive environment. Light of the Bay has truly been a blessing for our family, and we are so happy to have found a place where Enzo can thrive!

My son has been attending Light the Bay Preschool since he was 3 years old, and we could not be happier with our experience. The teachers are absolutely wonderful they are caring, attentive, and have great communication with parents. My son has grown so much here, not only making new friends but also coming home excited to show me all the things he has learned. One of his favorite things is showing me how he can count in Spanish! It’s clear that the teachers truly care about each child’s growth and development. He looks forward to going to school every day, and as a parent, that means everything. Truly a Blessing – Highly Recommend! This Christian preschool was a true blessing for our family. Both our daughters attended until they turned 5, then moved on to Catholic school. The staff and pastor treated them like their own—loving, patient, and supportive. The school runs from 6 AM to 6 PM, which was a big help, and more importantly, they teach the foundation of God in everything they do. My wife and I were very particular about safety and curriculum—thank the Lord we found this place.
