Life Time Fitness - Centreville

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Pierce is an outstanding personal trainer!! He’s extremely knowledgeable, extremely patient, very personable, and always knows how to challenge me in the best way. At my age, safety is a top priority, and Pierce is very intentional about making sure every workout is effective and safe. He’s also extremely responsive and always sends reminder texts, which I really appreciate. I truly feel like he goes above and beyond for his clients. I’ve learned so much from him, and the health benefits.. both physically and mentally have been fantastic. While personal training is an investment, it’s far more expensive not to be working on your physical and mental health. I couldn’t recommend Pierce more highly.

The staff at Lifetime Fitness are the best and the facilities are very nice! I've been a member at Lifetime for about 3 years and I've never had a bad class before. My favorite instructors are probably Erin, Melissa, J.S., Sheed, and Charlotte. They are all super professional, clear with instruction, modify for participants if necessary, and are amazing motivators! In addition, the front desk staff have always been helpful and friendly. I'm only deducting a star because one thing that is slightly annoying is it seems like there's construction going on basically all the time. I totally understand it's to update the gym and make it better but it seems like it's always happening and there's never any notice either when they're going to do updates. Otherwise, everything is great!

I’ve been a member here since after Covid and honestly I don’t get what they’re doing with the equipment. I mostly train upper body and I haven’t seen a single new upper body machine. After work it’s packed and I’m constantly waiting or asking to work in. It gets old fast. They keep adding lower body stuff though. Just added some machine called the Booty Builder. I don’t really see the point when there’s already a ton of leg machines and the upper body area is still crowded every day. For how much this place costs, I’d expect them to add more variety and balance things out. Renovations don’t mean much if the actual equipment situation doesn’t improve.

I love the community but the manager is the ABSOLUTE WORST. He has a habit of destroying all the community building activities. He put a stop to birthday parties for staff who are generous enough to teach on their birthdays. Then he made the unilateral decision to cancel ALL cycle classes, even though many had a cult following with beloved instructors. One instructor ONLY taught cycle. The manner in which it was done was so underhanded. People were barely given 2 weeks notice. This place costs too much to have changes we didn’t ask for shoved down our throats. That was the only studio that had 2 entrances. Why couldn’t they preserve some of the space for cycle? They could have, but again, no one asked us. I don’t need to be paying LT prices to have a Planet Fitness experience. If that’s the case, I could just go back to Planet Fitness.

Just want to say how much I love Lifetime Fitness Centreville. I’ve been playing Pickleball for over 2 years now, and have played in several different Pickleball establishments and nothing compares to Lifetime Fitness. Julie Brodie, the Pickleball Lead has created such a positive, inclusive and fun environment for everyone. The entire staff are professional and kind. Julie has turned this place into a real Pickleball Kingdom! I come to Centreville Lifetime Fitness mainly for PB now because of the environment that has been built😀
