What Parents Say
This is not a daycare center but a fitness facility (Life Time Fitness gym). Reviews praise the comprehensive amenities, cleanliness, and friendly staff, but criticize the high pricing and occasional operational issues with facility management and staff attentiveness.
I came here to try it out, and was aware that the cost of a day pass ($57) was obviously exorbitant compared to other gyms, but I wanted to see what they had to offer. The front desk staff was quite rude and very unwelcoming and most of the other staff I saw throughout the gym were sitting and conversing with each other or on their phones. I was extremely surprised by how outdated all of the equipment was. It was also absolutely filthy. They had a class going in the middle of the weight area, which is fine, but it was ridiculously loud. I had my noise suppression headphones up full blast and I still couldn’t drown out the noise. If I had a good experience I would have considered joining, but this place was completely underwhelming, especially compared to other gyms in northeast Ohio. For this being considered a premium priced gym, I was expecting it to be clean, updated and staffed with friendly employees which wasn’t the case at all.
Pricey, yes. But it’s a great vibe, clean, and members are friendly. All of the staff is great, too. I’ve tried the spa, and the massage was awesome. Great workout space and area, too. Overall, it’s a great gym, but it’s very expensive.
All fitness related are in one big huge facility: swimming pools, sauna, steam rooms, group classes, weights, yoga, pilates, rock wall, pickle ball, basketball, cycling etc. The gym's app is very helpful in finding everything they offer there including booking a class/session. The facility has spa and cafe including offering few other services such as personal training, dynamic stretch, chiropractic, etc.
Visiting out of state. I've been to lifetime facilities in Illinois, New Jersey, Texas and now Ohio. The facility at Beechwood was un-impressing. In the Men's locker room there were piles of wet towels all over the place, some piles were over 3ft in height. The pool deck was a disaster. Again towels all over the place. I was there with my kids and they had the zero entry section closed as they only had two guards on duty. Well those two guards spent the entire time talking and not watching the water. There was even an operations worker who joined their conversation to where they were all sharing videos and passing a phone around. Even the guard on the chair was holding the phone watching or looking at the video. So at one point there was the two guards, deck manager and operations all at the guard stand talking and not watching the water. This really upset me as my family was looking forward to the pool, but ended up watching the staff be unreasonable. We were there Saturday 1/3 in the afternoon. When we were leaving the zero entry did open but that was 2hrs after we arrived.
Been here since they opened... Great Facility if you are serious about your health & use all the extras that other gyms don't have. Good people & most workers. Cons - the price been going up. Everything cost too much & usually the managers - Become unfavorable. Definitely headed into the wrong direction. More like a country club vs a real Gym. 😔 😟
