We had all 3 of our children attend Beachwood Nursery School (youngest still attending). Nothing but positive experiences for all. Caring instructors, conveniently located, and affordable.

Both of our children have been part of this school community since they were just 2 years old. Our oldest graduated last year, and now, with our second child about to move on, we’re feeling incredibly grateful—and a little emotional—as we close this important chapter in our lives. Over the years, this school has been so much more than just a place of learning. It’s been a second home—a place where our children were nurtured, encouraged, and truly known. The relationships they’ve formed here—with friends, teachers, and staff—are ones they will carry with them for a lifetime. We’ve watched both of our children grow into confident, kind, and curious individuals, thanks in large part to the care and dedication of everyone here. The love, support, and attention they received from day one have made all the difference. As we say goodbye, we know we’ll miss the daily rhythm of being part of this incredible community. But we’ll always look back with the fondest memories and the deepest appreciation. Thank you for giving our children such a wonderful start in life. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. :D

you should absolutely avoid sending your child here. They make up policies or add them in last minute. Who knows what kind of deceptive and dangerous policies get put in place on the fly by the staff. I sent my two kids here for camp. We send our kids with flavored water, not legally juice at all so it does not violate the no juice policy they tacked on last minute and does not appear in their handbooks, and this place had the gaul to call me after dumping out my kids water to tell me they dumped it out. My kids then went the rest of the entire day without drinking a single drop of water. They also restricted the juice that was packed in their lunch which fine but again 0 liquids for an entire day. The staff assurred us they would stay on top of my kids getting properly hydrated well the permanent product of the two full water bottles and full juice bottle and my kids saying they had nothing shows the staff did not stay on top of it. It was also stated by the staff that the reason for depriving my children of being properly hydrated was that "it would not be fair to the other children". So its fair that my child was dehydrated? This dangerous policy needs to corrected.

I've been a resident of Beachwood since 2007, the year my youngest was born. Both of my kids, my son and my daughter, were successful students at Beachwood Nursery School. BNS introduced my kids to school in the most positive way and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! My son started there in the summer camp program - just a short time each day and he always looked forward to going. He and his sister participated in the 1/2 day preschool program during the school year. In their classrooms, the caring and capable teachers foster a positive classroom environment. They are fun and enthusiastic and have such a LOVE for the children. It was such an honor to have these women care for my kids when they were at Beachwood Nursery School. In preschool, both kids made friends, listened to their teachers, played games, learned songs and made crafts and art projects. The school encourages parent participation by having special events like mother's day tea, Halloween and Easter parades, art shows, family picnics and class trips to the farm and zoo each year. Parents are also welcome to come in and read stories to the children, which I loved to do. The Holiday sing along event was always fun and the graduation ceremonies are so memorable! BNS has expanded their facilities over the years to include 2, very secure and well maintained school buildings and a fully fenced play yard for students to enjoy. Go and visit them. They will be happy to give you a tour of the facility and have a conversation with Michelle Keenan, co-owner and director of BNS. I highly recommend Beachwood Nursery School to anyone and everyone looking for a top notch preschool program in the Toms River, NJ area.

This is a fantastic school, with supportive teachers who are dedicated to the growth and development of the children. The school provides great activities for the children and families. My child had a wonderful experience at this school.
