My sister needed care after leaving a long term rehab center and needed care until her Medicaid aides were lined up. The care was subpar at best. Her hair wasn't washed the entire time and simple instructions were never followed. The Aide complained about her life in general the whole time she was here. In the 3 weeks we used them, the Aide called out twice and there was no back up. The second time, Deborah told us we needed to find another company to use. Very unprofessional!!

I could NOT recommend the NC Tendercare to anyone who needs help with a family member with dementia. Their staff is thin and quality control is low. My Dad was drowning with the need to just get out a few hours a week and the woman who was committed to 2x/week visits flaked out constantly. Later, we found she was lying to Tendercare as well, but TenderCare failed to step in with other solutions and they continue to keep her on staff. Finally, after several missed appointments, she failed to show on a day my Dad had reserved for visiting potential Senior Care facilities. I can't believe anyone thinks it's ok to run a business this way.

Easy to work with and I don't have someone looking over my shoulder . They trust my skills and my ability to communicate with each patient to their understanding and individualize each person' and respect them. The owner is very down to earth and very understanding as with the the receptionist, who places u to what fits your agenda and to your liking.

I can recommend Tender Care. The owner has many years of experience. The home care person for my wife is doing a great job.
