What Parents Say
Legacy Learning Center in Frisco receives mixed reviews with strong polarization. Seven parents gave 5-star ratings praising the caring staff, clean facility, and children's growth, while three gave 1-star ratings citing management unprofessionalism, inadequate safety incident documentation, and sudden termination of enrollment.
We have had such a wonderful experience here with both of our children. Our toddler daughter has been enrolled for over a year, and the care, patience, and attention the teachers and management show every day mean the world to us. She has grown so much socially and emotionally, and we always feel confident she’s in great hands. Our 6-year-old son also attended the summer camp, and he absolutely loved it. The activities were fun and creative, and the weekly field trips were a huge highlight—he came home excited to share everything he did. The management team is truly exceptional—organized, communicative, and genuinely invested in the kids. We are so grateful for everything they do. Highly recommend to any family looking for a safe, caring, and well-run place for their children!
Update: Management / ownership is lying in their response. I am willing to share the recorded phone call and email chain to anyone who asks. Think carefully before enrolling here. Our oldest was at LLC for over three years and our deepest regret is we ignored MAJOR red flags as first-time parents. Our children were terminated immediately after I asked a reasonable question about tuition billing following a closure caused by a pipe leak (not weather-related). Instead of discussing it professionally, the owner called me and said my email made me “not worth the effort” and that “the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.” This call was recorded and I can share it privately with any current or prospective parent if requested. There were zero issues with our kids. The owner confirmed staff loved them. The termination came solely after I asked about billing and policies. What got me labeled “high maintenance” was advocating for safety: reporting a child jumping on another child when parents weren’t notified as promised, and pushing for a resolution after my son received a deep scratch below his eye. I was told we “don’t really have a contract” while being held to policy language, and although parents must give two weeks’ notice, we were terminated immediately by phone with no written notice. The owner also stated I “care more about money than my kids.” If you expect professional communication or want to advocate for your child, consider this carefully.
Our daughter has been going to Legacy for 4.5 years, since she was 4 months old and we can't say enough good things about LLC! She learns so much there and loves going every day. Every teacher and admin has been wonderful since day one! You can see how much they care about every single child. We are soooo sad to be moving to a new part of town and won't be able to continue going here. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl for all these years!
I brought my son here years ago when he was an infant. My work changed and I was sad to pull him. I have been lucky enough to be able to put my 5 year old son back into this school full time and he and I both love it! His teachers are patient with him despite his craziness. Thank you to all the staff at legacy! I highly recommend this facility over other daycares in the area!
Our boys attended this school for almost five years. Our oldest was 4 months old when he started. We got a call about a week ago asking us to leave due to staffing issues and because our children "required more attention" than other kids. We were 2 months away from pre-K graduation and were treated so poorly. When COVID shut down the school we were one of the families that offered to continue to pay tuition to support the school. They had no loyalty to our children or our family. We are sad and disappointed and would not recommend this school.
