We love Legacy! From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with kindness and respect. From the teachers, to any of the staff, I know my child is loved and appreciated. Everyone knows my child's name, even if they are not her teacher. The school is clean, and perfect for little learners. The layout is very carefully engineered to support creativity and learning. And each room is catered to a specific age group, which reassures me as a parent that my child is getting the best education and experience for her age group. The teachers are fantastic! They are so loving and attentive. Our child learns something new every day and comes home sharing her new knowledge and I am blown away by what she learns. I am so impressed with them and so fortunate that we are part of this school community.
Legacy Academy Woodruff Rd. has been nothing short of amazing for our family. Our youngest started off in the infant room at 5 months old and our oldest started around 21 months in the toddler class. The staff members from management to teachers are extremely kind, patient, professional and so loving towards us as parents, and our children. The communication is top notch and our children have learned SO much during their time at Legacy. I highly recommend Legacy Acedemy Woodruff Rd!
If you're looking for top notch child care, learning, and development to get your babies and young children ready for k5, look no further. Legacy Academy has been nothing less than excellent when it comes to curriculum, daily scheduling, engagement, nutrition, staff... they are highly accredited and I have always felt my children were in the best hands with a high level of continuity-of-care when it comes to individual care and transition between classes. They work with you on "best solutions" for each individual child and have always prioritized and taken seriously any minor concern or question we've had. Their front office and operations teams are engaged, they know what's going on in the classroom, and know you and your children by name. Safety and security in the classroom and in the building are second to none. Both my children have started with Legacy from infant stages 6-9 months old and the infant room teachers have always had a sense of calm, and are loving and nurturing in ways that put a new mom at ease. You'll see the same teachers in the infant room every day loving your baby, getting to know them, and "figuring them out" which is so reassuring. They are diligent in reporting what's going on, what your baby needs, and anything they're observing that may be of interest to you. It's so important to receive good communication from the people taking care of your children and that's what you'll get. Legacy had my 5 year old "MORE THAN PREPARED" to succeed in Kindergarten (math, letters, numbers, reading prep, communication and behavioral interaction) and "ahead of the game," per her k5 teacher, and that was the icing on the cake for us. I can't say enough good things about Legacy. There are so many good teachers there who have loved my babies like their own and it speaks to both staff and management excellence, from the infant room, to 4b, to director levels.
My daughter has been at Legacy since she was 4 month old. We have always felt she was safe and well cared for. The staff provides communication all day long. Best of all, we are so impressed by how much she learns every day! Now she is 2 and loves to sing songs, knows the alphabet, counting, colors, and communicates how she feels. We love Legacy!
Searching for - and finding - reliable, curriculum and family centered, nationally accredited, warm and welcoming childcare may be one of the most stressful parental experiences. We could not be more pleased to have been welcomed into the Legacy family. The teaching plan - all focused on ensuring they are learning and building physical, mental and emotional skills - and communication have been excellent. My 3yo loves his friends, teachers and all of the staff. We feel immensely blessed to be a part of this school. Take a tour - chat with current families - you won’t be disappointed!
