I really enjoyed the front staff and back staff, billing was quick and to the point. I love the PRISMA app as well. The only issues is the staffing itself. I don't know how they were super slow with only a few clients. That was the only issue, I wonder what it would be like on a busy day? I was there by accident around 4:30pm and the gentlemen waiting, wasn't taken care of till late. Maybe 6:30 ish? I am guessing, either way that's way too long on a slow day. Overall I am happy that they were affordable, great staff, and quick once everything was ready.
Amanda D. was the technician that did my x-rays today. She was not only extremely professional & thorough, but personable too. She made sure my injured knees & lumbar area were aligned properly in order to take the best shots for the radiologist. A++ The front desk provided me with the information I needed to call my Dr's office to have them send my orders. There was a slight wait period, but that was solely on my Dr's office's part. Very pleasant experience with this location. I will remember the next time I need any imaging!
Duplicate billing is a big problem to watch out for here. I had a cardiac CT scan which required pre-payment. 6 weeks later I got an invoice from Prisma for the same amount. When I inquired and provided my receipt, the lady in the billing department nonchalantly said “Oh, that happens all the time. Their system and ours don’t mesh.” My reaction - well if it happens all the time, then maybe someone should fix it!
I had imaging done at this location a week ago, referred by a specialist out of state. Despite multiple requests, it still hasn’t been shared. I’ve tried contacting the imaging/medical records department, but they only offer a voicemail option and send CDs, which is outdated and unhelpful in urgent situations. After my appointment, I specifically asked for the images to be shared electronically. The imaging tech confirmed it was possible and directed me to the front desk, but the staff there had no idea how to do it. Since then, I’ve been to the ER, where something concerning was found in my imaging, yet I still can’t get anyone at Prisma to help me access or forward the files. I’ve emailed my Prisma doctors, called customer service, and even attempted to share imaging through MyChart. Still no resolution. Very frustrating experience.
Everyone was very friendly. The whole process of registration to getting the CT scan done was fast and easy.
