Legacy Academy For Children

Legacy Academy has been a wonderful experience for our family! The teachers are incredibly personable and friendly, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. My son absolutely loves it—he runs to his teachers every day and is so comfortable in their care. After researching other daycares in the area and reading their ratings, we found that Legacy consistently stands out. The facility is exceptionally clean and safe, giving us complete peace of mind when we leave our son there. We’re always greeted by name when we arrive and leave, which makes the experience feel even more personal and welcoming. One thing that really impressed me is how breastfeeding-friendly they are. When my son was younger, they provided a comfortable and private space for me to nurse and always made me feel welcome to come in whenever I needed. Their support made a huge difference in my breastfeeding journey, and I’m so grateful for that. I also love the engaging play and creative crafts they offer, which keep my son excited and learning every day. Legacy does an amazing job of incorporating families into the school experience, with events like Halloween parades, Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, Breakfast with Santa, photography sessions, and even fun classroom competitions. They also foster a sense of community by organizing donation opportunities for families to participate in. Legacy Academy has been such a positive and supportive place for our family. I cannot recommend them enough!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Legacy Academy! Since my son enrolled this past August, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The daycare Director, Armando, is incredibly welcoming and kind. He goes above and beyond, even assisting my elderly mother when she picks up my son, ensuring he is safely buckled in the car. Every teacher I've encountered has been caring and supportive. The atmosphere at Legacy Academy feels like a school environment, with vibrant artwork and engaging activities that celebrate holidays and special occasions. My son faces some challenges and may be on the spectrum, but the staff has shown remarkable compassion and dedication. They do their utmost to help him learn and overcome his challenges while ensuring he feels included in everything happening in the classroom. I appreciate the constant communication from the daycare. They keep me updated throughout the day about my son's diaper changes, nap times, meals, and even send pictures of him during playtime, circle time, and music time with his classmates. I always feel informed about his day and what he’s accomplished. Legacy Academy is a safe haven for children. The facility is well-organized, and access is controlled, providing peace of mind for parents. I'm incredibly grateful to have been recommended this daycare by someone experienced in the industry. I wholeheartedly recommend Legacy Academy to any parent looking for a nurturing and educational environment where their little ones will be cared for, supported, and kept safe. It truly is a place where children can thrive!

We had some concerns initially because there were very few reviews when we enrolled in 2021, but in reality, it felt like we had discovered a hidden gem. Legacy Academy Chapel Hill is a place that focuses more on doing the right things rather than just advertising themselves online. Since it doesn’t show up prominently on Google Maps, many people may not even know it exists. However, the teachers, directors, and even the chef for preparing their meal incredibly kind and dedicated to their work. The entire team consistently showed professionalism and care throughout our four years there. Many staff members have been there for a long time, and even in my child’s class, several of his friends have been with him for years. I believe that speaks volumes about the stability and quality of this place. I especially want to express my deep appreciation for Mr. Armando, Miss Lisa, Miss Brook and Ms. Lauri. They go above and beyond, caring for the children with genuine warmth and dedication. Their passion and commitment extend far beyond just doing their jobs, and I sincerely admire that. Legacy Academy of Chapel Hill been an amazing place for my son. I’ve seen incredible improvements in his learning and social skills since he started attending. The teachers are not only skilled but also kind, patient, and genuinely care about the children. My son loves going to school every day, and it’s heartwarming to see how much he enjoys learning and playing.

Our family has been at legacy academy for over a year now and we have been happy with our experience there. The classrooms are clean with great centers and toys for the children to learn and play. They have great age appropriate play structures and outdoor toys for the kids. They provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks which is very convenient. My kids have enjoyed all their teachers and have grown and learned so much during their time there.
