This school is one of the greatest, realest, amazing schools in Murfreesboro! These teachers take care of these children as if they are their own and you can tell that they work here because they want to teach the children! Even though the curriculum is new, it’s still very hands-on and fun for all ages! Ms. Leigh has tons of experience and has shown that she loves these babies and is truly wonderful! Mrs. Polly has been at this school for so many years alongside many of these teachers, and goes above and beyond to do what is best for the school! It’s better to check it out for yourself and see what all they offer and how much your child will enjoy being at this school! They will truly be loved!
The Director Leigh and Assistant Director Polly are amazing. Very welcoming and they do an exceptional job running the school. If you’re looking for quality care with a loving family feel, this is the place for you.
Do NOT bring your child here. Learning Zones do not put children and parent communication first. My daughter had her clothes pulled at over a dozen times over the last year by another child. Nothing was ever done to deal with the other child’s inappropriate behavior. They just removed a male teacher that worked there for multiple years. No announcement about his departure and DHS, DCS and law enforcement have been called. You do the math.

Her dedication, warmth, and professionalism make such a positive impact on everyone who walks through the doors. She truly cares about the kids, the families, and the staff – and it shows in everything she does. The environment at the Learning Zone is nurturing, safe, and full of energy. It’s clear that the entire team is committed to providing a high-quality experience, and Polly is a huge part of why it works so well. John Rice is truly the BEST decision we could have ever made for our family! From the moment we walked in, Mrs. Polly, Mrs. Aimee, and Dr. D welcomed my son with open arms, treating him as if he were their own and patiently answering every single question I had. The teachers are nothing short of amazing! The center was spotless, filled with beautiful artwork, and you could immediately see how knowledgeable and caring the staff are—which gave me so much peace knowing my child would be in their hands. As a mom who was so nervous about leaving her child, John Rice has completely taken away all my worries. It truly feels like a loving, homey place where my little one is safe, happy, and thriving 🩵
