Having to switch my son from a daycare that is very well rated academically, that he’d been at since before he could walk was a very hard but necessary transition. He wasn’t doing well behavior wise which is very hard for any parent to deal with. When I contacted Small Wonders Academy, Mr. Tara was extremely welcoming and reassuring that they would work with my son and help guide us in the right direction for his behavior issues. Within the very first week I noticed a complete change in his behavior. He was happier and would talk about his teachers even at home! They treat him with love and took the time to get to know him which we absolutely appreciate. Thank you so much everyone at Small Wonders Academy Granite Run 💕
Don't put your child at this daycare. They illegally accept more kids than the capacity of the classrooms. I found out that they were keeping 3 children from my son's classroom in the director office because the classroom is full. Families be aware as we don't bring our children to the daycare to stay at the administration office. I pulled my son out since I didn't feel secure to leave him there.
I didn’t have a terrible time with small wonders for the first year that my daughter was there. One teacher rubbed me the wrong way but the rest were great! As many people are aware of a supposed disgruntled employee said there was abuse at the daycare. The former employee contacted me directly and said my daughter was involved in this abuse. First, I didn’t hear anything from the school until about 4 days after the post. Second though she could have very well be disgruntled no one could confirm or deny her story. There are no cameras at this school, the director is spread so thin that she doesn’t know what’s going on half the time mostly because they’re understaffed. So no one could concretely tell me if my daughter was abused. There was not even an investigation done by the school! After my interaction with the owner I just moved on to another daycare.
We love Small Wonders Academy! Our kids are treated with kindness and respect and they look forward to "school" every day. My kids are greeted every day with a warm, welcoming hug and hello. It really gives me peace of mind when I drive away to work because I know my kids are loved and cared for every day.
Our experience with SWA has been nothing short of amazing. As a hospital worker and chemist during the pandemic my wife and I had hectic schedules so hay changed at the drop of a hat. SWA accommodated our needs on short notice to ensure our little one would be taken care of. Clearly she receives amazing care and love there as she bolts to the door every day when we drop her off. She comes to daycare with a smile on her face and leaves with the same smile. She’s even seen one of the teachers outside of daycare and ran up to her out of excitement. The teacher without hesitation picked our daughter up and played with her. The love and care you get at SWA just can’t be found anywhere else. And we couldn’t be happier with all the teachers and staff there. THANK YOU ALL!
