Our experience with this daycare was extremely exhausting. I left feeling misled and frustrated. At no point during enrollment did Christine mention a “two-week behavioral watch,” and discovering this only after my child started felt completely unacceptable. That level of withheld information shows a serious lack of transparency in my opinion. Had I been aware upfront about the two week policy, that would have allowed me to properly decide whether this was the correct placement or not for my son. What made the situation worse was the unprofessional way everything was handled. Instead of offering support, guidance, or even a basic willingness to work with my child, the staff seemed quick to judge and dismiss suggesting another daycare facility within the first week of attendance. It felt like they had no intention of giving my child a fair chance to adjust, and there was zero meaningful effort to understand or help. For a place that is supposed to care for children, the unwillingness to actually work with them was shocking. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution any parent looking for a supportive, honest, and patient environment. This daycare did not provide any of that for us. They were a huge inconvenience for my family because if the important information was disclosed upfront none of us , including teachers and staff including my child and myself wouldn't have ended up in this terrible situation.
I put my son in Learn n Play a year ago at just under 2 years old and I have to say, it was the absolute best decision! The front desk staff, teachers and directors are always so welcoming, attentive, and patient. I can't rave enough about how much my son has developed in all areas. The classes have been well organized with the student to teacher ratios. I love getting the updates and pictures each day on what he's learning and seeing the fun he's having while interacting with his friends. I highly recommend this daycare and want them all to know they're doing a fantastic job!
My grandson has been coming to Learn and Play since he was two years old, and now he is seven and is enjoying the summer camp facilities. All of the teachers are very attentive to each and every single one of their students. My grandson enjoys coming to Learn and Play every single day and looks forward to it.
The staff is absolutely amazing! The way they go above and beyond for my son makes me so grateful. They truly care for his well being and it is so reassuring knowing he is with a wonderful team that wants the best for him and have created such a such a positive environment for him to learn.
I would caution against investing time and resources in this childcare establishment if you prioritize reliable and empathetic care for your child. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff, particularly under the leadership of the mother-daughter ownership team, was disappointing. While some staff members demonstrated exceptional skills, the daughter, Christine Munoz, exhibited a concerning lack of empathy and understanding and Ms. Brittany is fake and drama-filled, she seemed to take pleasure in delivering negative information regarding accidents and incidents with my son throughout his day and misrepresented the nature and content of our interactions. I went above and beyond to be friendly with her, she's a hater. Regrettably, my child's care was terminated due to a perceived personal grievance with me. It appeared that the administration took issue with my advocacy for my child's needs and my requests for clarification on certain matters, which they misinterpreted as "bullying and harassment" of their staff. However, I believe that my assertive communication style was misconstrued and unfairly characterized. Throughout our six-month tenure, I encountered difficulties with the center's operational hours, which commenced at 7:30 AM, potentially causing inconvenience for working parents who require earlier drop-off times. Furthermore, I experienced excessive phone calls and requests from the staff, which began to interfere with my professional obligations. When I addressed these concerns, I was subsequently served with a termination notice. While I acknowledge my direct and forthright communication style, I categorically deny any allegations of harassment or bullying. I fear that my assertiveness may have been misinterpreted through a biased lens ( Ms. Brittany is a hater and immediately didn't like me from the beginning). In retrospect, I regret having chosen this establishment, and I would advise prospective parents to explore alternative childcare options that prioritize empathy, understanding, and effective communication.
