I highly recommend the Goddard School because of its low teacher’s turnover, clean and well-organized environment, and well-structured classroom activities. We love Goddard our school so much! We can drop our son off every day, knowing that he is safe and happy. He has learned so much and has really developed a passion for learning. I’d driven past Goddard for many years, and thought it was the most picturesque little daycare I’ve ever seen, but used the daycare closer to where I worked. The minute a career change provided the opportunity to check out Goddard and transfer my son there, we did and it’s been the most amazing experience. They always have the most fun little activities where the parents can get involved, including reading to your child’s classroom. It did take a second to get used to packing our child’s lunch every day as our previous facility offered hot lunch. However, everything is so amazing that we quickly acclimated. When our son graduates from pre-K to start kindergarten next year, we will miss everyone very much.
I’m glad someone spoke up about this as now I see that the other review I read yesterday is gone, I’ve noticed many of the same issues with how the center is being managed, particularly with the director, Pam, who often comes across as unapproachable and dismissive or just purely unfriendly. It’s been disappointing to see these concerns go unaddressed, and I sincerely hope the administration takes this feedback seriously and works toward real improvements. Those teachers and families deserve to feel whole again at the Goddard School of Fredericksburg.
My son has been attending The Goddard School of Fredericksburg since 2021 and I cannot express in words how impactful and important these teachers and staff have been to his education and development. The kindness and genuine caring each teacher provides is unlike other schools. Even though none of us really want to drop our kids off at a daycare, I truly feel like I'm handing my child over to people who care about him. 10/10 recommend this Goddard location to parent.
