I’ve had a good experience at The Nest. What truly stands out is the leadership. Tammy, the Director, is exceptional. She’s responsive, organized, and genuinely cares about both the children and the families. Communication is clear and consistent. It’s obvious Tammy is hands-on and present, and that level of care shows in every detail. I'm grateful to have found The Nest and recommend it.
We’ve been at this daycare since August, and I can honestly say it has been such a positive experience for our family. From the very beginning, the transition felt smooth and reassuring. As a parent, leaving your child somewhere new is never easy, but the teachers made it clear right away that they truly care. Over the past several months, we’ve watched our son grow in so many ways — socially, emotionally, and even with little things like independence and communication. He talks about his teachers and friends at home, which tells me he feels safe and happy there. That peace of mind means everything. The staff are warm, patient, and genuinely engaged with the kids. I would definitely recommend!
The Nest has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They’ve answered my many questions as a parent doing daycare for the first time. They’ve answered give us detailed updates all day, and they take such good care of our daughter.
We had a truly wonderful experience with this daycare. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to support my daughter, who was initially refusing the bottle. Ms. Lisa and Ms. Liz showed incredible patience, trying different bottles at different times and even accommodating her by feeding her breast milk as puree when she refused the bottle. They embraced baby-led weaning and were so comfortable and skilled with it, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Many times I would walk in and find her being lovingly held and rocked, which spoke volumes about the care and individual attention she received. Especially in the beginning when she needed to feel safe in a new environment. Over time, she even started not wanting to leave when I came to pick her up! In the mornings, she would be excited and happy to go, a true testament to how safe and loved she felt there. They also did the sweetest things, like making a butterfly-shaped footprint keepsake for us — such thoughtful gestures that meant so much. Each day included meaningful activities like sensory play and reading, and they always took the time at the end of the day to give us a detailed update. It felt like they really knew her, understood her personality, and tuned in to her needs. There was one occasion when classes were grouped together unexpectedly due to a family emergency, and we noticed our daughter was a bit unsettled. When we inquired, Tammy handled it with such professionalism and kindness, providing a clear explanation and letting us know exactly when things would return to normal. Even the other teachers knew our daughter by name, which showed how much they all work together as a team and look out for each child. Everyone was consistently friendly, warm, and welcoming. We are so grateful to Ms. Liz, Lisa, director Tammy and the entire team for creating such a nurturing, loving environment.
My son has been going to The Nest for about 6 months now and we have nothing but great things to say about the director Tammy and the staff. When we first moved to The Nest my son had a hard time adjusting and Tammy really help to make him comfortable along with her staff, they listened to him and really found a way to make him comfortable. Now he gets exciting walking in everyday. I'm grateful for The Nest and really feel that my child has learned so much within 6 month. My husband and I are happy that we made the change.
