What Parents Say
LCH Learning Center receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from most parents, who praise the caring staff, learning opportunities, and flexible scheduling. One negative review raises concerns about staff supervision, bathroom access policies, and allergy management, though this review is contradicted by multiple other parents.
My kids (1 & 3 years old) love the days they get to attend here! LCH has also been able to accommodate my volatile schedule, and I've been lucky to never have had any issue with switching or adding days with short notice. I'm so appreciative of their flexibility and dependability. The things my kiddos learn and pick up from their peers and teachers never cease to impress me, and that alone validates my reasons for having them enrolled in part time care. I've been thoroughly impressed with the safety measures and sanitation practices that have allowed LCH to stay open and available during this pandemic. I've never once questioned dropping my kids off, because I know they are safe and cared for. Thank you Nikki, Shelly and your wonderful staff!
If your looking for high quality care then this is the place to take your children. Nikki the owner really cares about each child here and will personally make sure all the children are getting their needs met. My 3 children went here and loved it they never wanted to go home not to mention they improved in so many learning skills to get them ready for school. All the teachers are amazing and love what they do. Highly would recommend Lch. Thank you Nikki for your hard work at the center you dedicate your life to this place and it shows thank you for caring for the children like you do!
If it was possible to give negative stars, that would be a more accurate rating. It’s hard to portray how bad this place is, an example would be noticing the owner of the facility happens to be living in an RV on the property without notice to parents. LCH is detrimental to a child's development. The atmosphere here is hectic. This is most likely a direct result of the poorly trained teenagers who are in charge. Most afternoons, the children could be found outside running amok while the teenage staff watch obliviously from tables, disconnected from interaction with the children. A glance at the kids cubbies shows numerous articles of clothing wrapped in plastic bags due to “accidents”. When in fact, the staff would often refuse to let the children use the restroom. Our daughter had an accident almost every day while attending LCH. However, since we have switched to a actual preschool, she has had one accident in 5 months. If your child suffers from any type of allergy, avoid LCH!!! They do not honor any of their supposed allergy practices. I cannot tell you have happy we are that our daughters are no longer exposed to the toxic environment at LCH. I would think this review a little harsh if it was not accurately supported by other parents we see at the new school who had similar experiences. This place is a definition of the animals run the zoo.
My two daughters (3 and 5) have been going to the school their entire life. Recently my daughter was injured by a teacher. The teacher grabbed and squeezed my daughters arm so tightly she left fingernail marks in her skin. The daycare did not report it to us, my daughter's kindergarten teacher called us and told us. When we told the owner Ms Nikki, she disregarded our claim and did not follow up or do anything about the incident. Nikki did not even stay at school when we came to talk to her (more than once we tried to meet with her about this). There's an active CPS investigation into the school about this incident. There's a reason daycare is so cheap here, Nikki simply does not care about the center. Don't trust your kids here, take them anywhere else. Alwo be aware that the owner sometimes decides to live in an RV in the parking lot for months at a time. She has lived there so long you can literally see the RV on Google maps street view. She did not tell parents that she was living on property.
I was appalled when I read the previous review. My son went to the owners infant and toddler center and I was devastated when he turned three and had to go somewhere else. I had some bad experiences at other centers and was glad to hear that Niki had purchased another center. My son has gone there for two years now and I couldn't be happier. The only valid information in the previous post was the fact that the owner lived in an RV in the parking lot for a month. She made all of the parents aware of her situation and its sad that she had to make her divorce public. The majority of the staff has been at the center for the two years that my son has attended and are older women who do an amazing job, I am not sure who the teenagers are that he is talking about. I would not have my son anywhere else.
