I’m so sad that this is Harper Graces last day! (only because she starts pre-k 4) Laugh and Learn has been amazing from the staff to all the teachers. Harper has been there for almost 4 years and we do not have a single complaint!! They took her in and treated her as one of their own. We were greeted every morning from staff that were not even her teachers. If you’re looking for an amazing daycare to love your baby like their own, I highly recommend this one!! They will be missed by us. 🩷
Would give 0 stars if possible. My daughter started here back Nov 1st 2024…it was our first daycare experience. I was prepared for all the daycare sickness you get… I won’t complain about that because it doesn’t matter where you take your kids they will get sick. But fast foward 2 months into this I get a call that my child has been hit by another child. ( she was in the 18-24 class) she was 19 months old at the time and the kid that hit her was 16 months old from what I was told. ( too young to be in the class to begin with) anyways they assured me it wasn’t that bad they just needed to let me know what happened. To them calling me 2-4 hrs later telling me her head was way worse than they initially thought that I needed to come get her and check it out. I show up to get my kid and she has 8-10 bruises all over her forehead, carpet burn on her cheek…. From what I was told one teacher was out in the hallway disciplining another child for biting while the other teacher was changing a kids diaper and so they couldn’t get to her right away when it happened. It was way worse than I could have imagined. Anyways after 2 days of trying to piece everything together, I heard 2-3 different stories and nothing ever added up right. Then the one teacher that was there during the incident magically quits before I could ever hear her side of the story. I took my child to the ER, so they had to file a formal letter to the state. I felt a shift from all the staff after that, so I did what I thought was the best a pulled her from the school.. no parent should have to worry about the safety of their child while paying the amount we do for daycare. I’ve learned my lesson and I hope this helps another parent out there that is looking to enroll their child. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ! The first picture is the one they sent me when they realized it was worse than they thought from the initial call. The other two pictures are when I picked her up and later that night when the swelling started to kick in.
My babygirl has been going to Laugh N Learn since she was 10 weeks old and just turned 3 two weeks ago. I have never had any problems or complaints, her teachers have always always always communicated well as well as the front office staff. I feel extremely confident that my child is safe while she is there and I do not have to worry about her during the day either. They follow all state laws and protocols and procedures when it comes to childcare. All childcare facilities have high turn over rates but I feel as though they do the best they can during the hiring process and if something needs to be addressed, they take care of it.
My children attended this daycare for nearly three years, and while I had hoped for a consistent and positive experience, things unfortunately took a turn. Recently, something happened that led to one of my children misbehaving with staff, including Mrs. Kristy, Mrs. Angela, and another staff member which works in the office(the skinny one). I still don’t fully understand what occurred, and I believe there’s more to the story that hasn’t been shared. After all these years of knowing the staff, I was surprised and disappointed that the decision was made to remove my children from the daycare without a clear explanation or resolution. Another major concern is the high employee turnover rate. Throughout the years, the staff has changed constantly. Many times, the daycare was not fully staffed, and this inconsistency made it hard for the kids to build trust or form meaningful connections with their teachers. That instability directly affected their ability to learn and feel secure. Overall, due to the lack of communication, unstable staffing, and recent experience with how issues were handled, I would not recommend this daycare to other families. By the way when Mrs. Angela handed me the zero-balance letter she was showing all of her teeth. I just politely said thank you. I never knew she could smile so big like that. But praise the Lord everything will work out.
My daughter started laugh & learn at 6 weeks old, I am a single mother & I was so scared to leave my baby but I had no option but to get a job immediately. The staff has become like family to us. Ms Mary that works with the infants really nurtured my daughter like her own & my Baby LOVES her so much. I'm so greatful for laugh & learn, daycare takes a while to get used to but I can say with certainty Mrs Christy & staff will do everything to keep your childen safe & cared for.
