I have had two kids at LaPetite in South Bend and we have been so appreciative to have found this center. It always says a lot about an organization when they have long tenured staff. Many of the teachers who cared for my daughter are caring for my son 8 years later. They truly care for the children like they are family. It’s never easy to trust someone else with your kids— and it’s never easy to take care of kids. There is always clear and prompt communication. They take wonderful pictures. My kids love going here. We briefly attended Goddard in Granger— and I would not recommend them to anyone. Specifically the ownership and leadership at Goddard is completely fixed on the bottom line and not what is best for the children. Miss Sue has a huge heart and tries to do what’s best for teachers, children, and parents. I’m glad I have loving support I can count on so I can know my kids are safe while I’m at work.
My experience with this child care provider has been exceptional. They have some teachers who have been in the industry for many years and know the curriculum to be taught. My school aged children were prepared for kindergarten with the help of the pre-k program and the work we did at home.
If you value inclusion you will not send your child here! My experience was nothing short of prejudice and ignorance. 0/10 ‼️ My recent experience with this establishment has been nothing short of disheartening. My child has behaviors attributed to having Sensory Processing Disorder. I was told by the director, Sue, that she wanted to facilitate a behavior plan. During the conversation she stated my child's behavior was not "normal". That she was not normal for throwing blocks. After reminding her that I witnessed her mocking my child after she was called to be picked up, she stated all of my child's behavior was "learned" and there was NO way she could've been born that way. By the end of the conversation I had to explain to her her level of unprofessionalism, ignorance, and prejudice. She apologized profusely, and still offered to work with her. BUT my child will never attend an establishment that promotes such a woman!
Great staff all around. Constant photos uploaded and updates on our child. The staff care about her development and always her best interests in mind.
Grateful doesn’t cover the way I feel about the ladies at this school. Having my daughter be somewhere safe was the main concern when picking a daycare. This facility ensures not only her safety, but her overall social and academic growth. Any concern I’ve ever had was taken seriously even if it was silly because I am THAT anxious mom who worries about everything. They say it takes a village and La Petite SB is my village. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, ladies.
