Growing Kids Learning Center

My daughter returned to GK after a not-so-great experience, but the situation was handled so positively by Director Jessica. Now she absolutely loves her new class! She’s back, thriving, and truly enjoys being there with her teachers Tera and Hannah. We’re so grateful for the support and care she’s received.

I have two sons who have gone to Growing Kids on Ireland Rd for a combined total of 6 years. My son who is now in second grade frequently says that he wishes he still went to "school" at Growing Kids. From a kid's perspective, it is friendly, kind, supportive, engaging, empowering, and FUN. They have many elements that get baked into the curriculum: gardening, yoga, art, music. They also offer some other additional programs that kids can participate in during their normal hours: soccer, dance, drama class, etc. From a parents perspective: they do an amazing job with communication, teaching the kids incredibly important skills. All the teachers arefantastic, but Miss Nikki, Miss Caryn, Miss Anna, Miss Avy, and Miss Cindy especially are absolutely amazing with the kids. It truly feels like leaving my kids in a building FULL of aunties, who know my son and his quirks. I've seen many kids in my sons' classes who seemed like they would be incredibly challenging for the staff, but they are always treated well. The teachers truly become kid whisperers, and are pros at diffusing situations without batting an eye. I've never - in 6 years of being in the building twice a day - heard or seen anything that would make me question whether leaving my sons here is the right choice. Wheen my son gets hurt in any way or isn't feeling well during the day, I get a phone call immediately and a written now when I pick him up. They log food and activities, and even pay photos on the app that they use. So, I know what my son has eaten, how he napped, and get pictures of art or fun outdoor activities. They also hold see feral events throughout the year. Some are little class parties during the day, like for Mothers Day/ Father's Day, but the kids always have some adorable souvenir for the Mom or Dad. Others are after hours or weekend events like End of Summer carnival, Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, summer movie screening, Christmas Recital, Pre-K Graduation ceremony. In their preschool program, they do an excellent job of preparing the kids for Kindergarten. My older son's Kindergarten teacher frequently commented on how good his handwriting was. Truly can't say enough good things. They make it easy for this working mom to know her kids are in great hands. Keep up the excellent work!

My original review got deleted on accident, so will write this again. We have two daughters who attend GK. Our baby is in the infant room and all her teachers are awesome (Miss Sydney, Miss Britni, Miss Anna, Miss Hiral). They all are so sweet and take the time to learn each baby and their needs. Our oldest is in one of the preschool rooms and Miss Tara, Miss Hannah and Miss Jasmine are all great with her. She loves to go to school. We love that she gets a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack and we absolutely love that no TV's are in the room. We are a very low screen time family and this is great. Our last daycare had them and our oldest daughter was like a walking zombie and absolutely terrible to pick up everyday. Now she comes running to me and her behavior is so much better.

We have been so lucky to have our kids at Growing Kids the last couple of years. The teachers and staff have been incredibly supportive of my child, even on rough days. I'm especially grateful to Ms. Destiny and Ms. Nikki for the patience and compassion they show the kids in their care. My youngest is in the infant room and I've been so impressed with how attentive and loving the teachers are, toward every baby in the room. Ms. Britni, Ms. Sydney, and Ms. Anna have been great! Also, shout-out to Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Jessica in the front. They've helped create a supportive work environment for their teachers, and a loving, caring environment for families.

Ms.Destiny had my youngest daughter in her class for a year and a half until she aged out to another class and while she was her in class she treated her like her own. Even tho she is no longer in her class Ms.Destiny still gives all the the love & support to my daughter! Also Ms.Sonya, Ms.Jaz, Ms.Jen has the older children and they treat them great no matter the situation and they help them through there struggles and praise them for the good! Ms.Alyssa has always been a pleasure to talk with and always makes me feel so comfortable to have any type of conversation with! Ms.Caryn is all around amazing lady, she loves on my kids and supports them in everything and has guided them with all positive encouragement. Ms.Sya is great with the kids also! Very helpful and leads them into the right direction! Everyone is so great at Growing Kids and I couldn't be happier I made the switch to almost 2 years ago! Thank you to ALL the staff!
