La Petite Academy - Leesville Road I can't say enough great things about this location! Before my daughter Zhy'Lei started the staff had already made a lasting impression. Miss Judy & Ms. Shamya was absolutely amazing with my child firm, nurturing, well-mannered, and operated just like I would as a parent. She didn't play games and truly cared about each child's development. The entire staff has always been supportive and professional. The director Tecia Stewart and assistant director Ashley Williams consistently go above and beyond to make sure my children and I feel welcomed safe, and comfortable. Even when I had to leave due to a job shift change they were understanding and supportive and now that I'm back with my third child I'm reminded of why I trust them so much. My youngest has a medical condition and hearing loss and the staff has been incredibly understanding, accommodating and patient. They make sure she wears her hearing aid with gentle encouragement even when it's a struggle. Their attention, empathy, and dedication are unmatched.
We are finishing our time at La Petite on Pleasant Pines with our 3rd kiddo who is off to kindergarten next year. All 3 of my children have been in the program. They’ve always received loving and compassionate care. Lots of play based activities and art for the toddlers and in the pre-k program, engaging play and activities to prepare for kindergarten. Ms. Kim, the director, and her team are all wonderful. They greet me and my child every morning by name with a smile. On the days my kiddo stays home, she actually gets mad and asks to go to school. Returning to work after having a baby isn’t easy, but knowing the quality love and care my kiddos were receiving made it so much easier!
Experienced staff both in administrative and educational environments. Atmosphere has a kind and welcoming vibe. I feel comfortable leaving my kiddo alone with them and know he is learning a wide range of social and educational lessons each day.
Our family love this daycare. Everyone is so kind and supportive with the education of our boys, and not to mention our boys love their teachers. I won’t change them for other place. I feel comfortable to go to work knowing that our kids are in good hands. Thank you to the management and the rest of the staff.
La Petite has been a great answer to our childcare needs. We recently moved our daughter back to La Petite after trying a different school for two years. It ended up not being a good fit for her as she grew. But we knew La Petite was in our corner. She's been welcomed back with open arms and her development and social skills changed quickly for the better. Our other child also has been attending since he was 5 months old and I just love the care and kindness the teachers in both infant classes show all of their families. I also want to add the sense of community that has really been added since we started in 2021. Parents talk to each other, birthday parties, and social events hosted by the school help those kinds of connections. It's important in a period of life that can feel isolating. We also love that they have programs you can opt into, like tennis and soccer. They come during the day, so our child gets the benefit of extracurriculars without driving all over town every week!
