Sadly, this so-called church never acknowledged the founders. The builders of this church. My dad and his brothers took care of this church and the preacher's house for years and they never got acknowledged. It's okay, they're all gone now. The current preacher is living on a high horse of the backbones of the founders. He should acknowledge them, but he won't. He got no spine.
I received the attached postcard from this church, and let me tell you— how utterly despicable, and frankly disturbing. “Are you ready for the judgement” sounds like an appallingly bizarre threat. I will not, in fact, be visiting you soon, and I will be highly vocal in advising others against attending your services.
My family has been attending LBC for 9 years... We have been thrilled to raise our 4 boys there. Not only is it a place where one can learn about the Love of a wonderful Lord and Creator, but where genuine warmth and welcome are extended to all. * There are ministries for children as young as infants all the way to Senior Saints... And everywhere in between!! We are so thankful God allowed us to be a part of Landmark and we HIGHLY recommend it to YOU!
We have been attending LBC for almost a year now. From the very beginning they welcomed up with open arms, the Preaching is Holy Spirit Filled, the Music such a blessing to my soul to actually be singing the Hymns of the Faith. The School is also a fabulous ministry that they have also.
I have been a member of Landmark Baptist for 10+ years. I have lived in many different areas of the US and was thankful to find this church when I came to RVA 22 years ago. If someone is searching for truth and meaning in life, you will be introduced to Jesus Christ of the Bible. If you are a believer already, the faithful preaching of God's Word is presented each service. Needless to say, I recommend you visit!
