If you are here for athletics, especially WSOC please reconsider. Virtually nothing the coaches tell you on the visit is true. The on campus jobs were about 5 hours/week. They don't have and probably never will have a "crew" to clear off the snow off the field. That will be the players with shovels on a full sized soccer field. SMH what a joke! Players that came into the season in shape, passing the conditioning test were benched in favor of ones who made no effort. Some players were allowed to miss games with no penalty, others were benched. Good news is if you took private training sessions with the head coach, you are magically the best player on the team. That might be a conflict of interest. There were many injuries that were due to careless, unsafe drills. Ask them about blindfolding girls and letting them run full speed into each other, or "Tahoe Ball". Coaching was petty and verbally abusive, also reported to the AD with no change of behavior by at least 3 girls. After traveling, arriving back to campus late late at night the girls are left in the parking lot to get rides home, coaching staff leaves. Quality of soccer is truly awful, winning your division is not a flex. Literally any decent club team would absolutely destroy 85 of the 92 teams in this league. I would suggest watching a game before committing here, don't be fooled by their invitation to play spring league either it is just a hook to get you there. The off campus athlete housing is disgraceful, honestly; absolute dumps with very little oversight. It also not exclusive to athletes. Police and housing director were contacted several times regarding illegal drug use and underage drinking with absolutely no resolution. Probably 3-4 different "partners" were allowed to sleep over a week, without permission from other tenants. @response kind of sounds like we already tried to contact administration and got no where, maybe you should start investigating on your own and let me know what other evidence you need to make some changes! I would start with the student’s email account, sent folder. She is on the roster and there is documentation. Let’s see how serious you take it. 01.09.26 Still no contact from administration, I guess they get on and immediately TRY to rebut bad reviews and "stand by" their reputation. I had an exceptional experience at college. The program was top-notch, the professors were excellent, and the overall environment was truly wonderful. The facilities, including the library and the commons, were great for reading and studying. I particularly appreciated the separate reading room in the library, which provided a quiet space for focused concentration. Attending this college has truly made me feel like I have been standing on the shoulders of giants.

Went to Lake Tahoe Community College with the Sonoma State Women's Soccer team to play a game. The coach and AD greeted us at the door of the Phys Ed building and were great hosts. The campus looks beautiful and is set among giant trees and it looks like new dorms are in the middle of being built. What a cool place to go to college for a few years!

Extreme and bizarre harassment from the administration. Unsafe for me to attend. (And it’s a shame, because some professors are nice. Several are not competent, but their classrooms are comfortable.) This comes from someone getting acceptance letters from all the UCs. Edit: The last class I took from them, online, featured more bizarre harassment—i.e. transcript fraud. The very dean harassed me over email (i.e. in writing) for defending myself against transcript fraud from Professor Regina Curasi, who gave me a C instead of an A and told me off over email because she didn’t understand her own syllabus. After I filed a grievance, the dean got involved and made Curasi change the grade. But Curasi only changed it to a B, not an A. Only after I threatened to press charges for transcript fraud with my girlfriend, a legal girl, did they finally change my grade to an A. When they give you crap, just prosecute. I would back you up. I have a giant paper trail against these people on many, many occasions.
