Great facility to use and such a great thing to have access to all YMCA facilities with the membership. Playing pickleball indoor over the winter season is such a great commodity. Love the 24/7 access!
Grandson and friend love to play basketball on Sundays. They enjoy the court here and I TRULY enjoy going around the corner to enjoy the view of Lake Anna (pic). Today was so peaceful with trees rustling as breeze gently caressed my face while the geese were honking.
Super friendly staff and people. The daycare is also the best gym daycare I have ever been to. They really go above and beyond. I drive almost 30 minutes everyday to come here because of how amazing they are. Couldn’t ask for a better place to swim.
I came in needing a very simple, one rep fitness verification required for military service paperwork. Despite explaining this clearly and respectfully, staff refused to observe or sign off unless I first paid the full $40 membership fee. The request would have taken less than a minute, but no alternatives or accommodations were offered. I left and went to another gym nearby where staff assisted me immediately without issue. Given the YMCA’s emphasis on community service, I was disappointed by how inflexible and transactional this interaction felt, especially in a military related context.
I have been frequenting this location for my son's swim lessons for a few months. The staff has been nothing short of extraordinary! They are knowledgeable, passionate and patient. The facilities are always clean, there are plenty of things to do here. Pool, sauna, basketball, childcare, ping pong, weight, group fitness and I'm sure even other things. There are women's and men's locker rooms. There are family change rooms. This location is 24/7 as well.
