What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise LPPP for its play-based curriculum, compassionate teachers who provide excellent social-emotional support, and unique parent-participation model that builds community. Families highlight the school's developmentally appropriate approach, strong teacher-child relationships, and valuable parent education programs that support growth at home and school.
Our oldest daughter has attended LPPP for the past 3 years (attending both the 3-year-old and 4-year/old classes) and our youngest began in the 3-year-old class this year as well. The teachers are the very best of the best - they love the children like their own and it really shows. My oldest daughter came home from her first day of school as a 3 year old (which was also her first time ever being away from us) and told us that while she was crying and sad, her teacher held her and helped her until she felt better. This reassurance gave us so much comfort since we knew was well cared for at school. The mission of the school to help parents and children learn and grow together has been so beneficial for our family. The tools we’ve learned for parenting preschool-aged children and beyond have changed our dynamic at home as well as in the classroom. The growth we’ve seen in our daughters’ social emotional skills since beginning at LPPP is astounding. If you’re looking for a play-based preschool with teachers who truly care for children and a community for parents, look no further than LPPP!
Choosing LPPP has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our daughter. As a parent of an English Language Learner, I was looking for a school that would treat her first educational experience with extra care, and we truly found a gem here. This school’s play-based philosophy—focusing on the "whole child"—is something I was looking for and fully support. The teachers at LPPP are exceptional; they lead with such integrity and provide a level of social-emotional support that I truly appreciate. When my daughter started her first year, she had a bit of separation anxiety and the challenges of a language barrier. Instead of rushing her, the teachers met her exactly where she was emotionally. They were incredibly patient and nurturing, giving her the gentle tools she needed to feel secure. It was through this thoughtful approach that she found her confidence and her voice. Beyond the classroom, I have found the parent education sessions to be incredibly valuable. They provide so much insight into child development and have given me a deeper understanding of how to support my daughter's growth at home. It’s rare to find a school that invests so much in educating the parents alongside the children. Now in her second year, she is absolutely thriving. She genuinely loves her school and looks forward to seeing her classmates every morning. The curriculum is engaging and intentional, giving the kids plenty of time for sensory exploration and social growth. One of the most amazing parts of LPPP is the community. Because it’s a parent-participation school, you become deeply connected with the other families. We’ve not only watched our daughter blossom, but we’ve also built a village of wonderful friends for ourselves. We feel so lucky to have found LPPP and would highly recommend this school.
We joined LPPP when my daughter was two, and the 'Parent & Me' classes were a lifesaver for me as a first-time mom. Not only did I get invaluable advice on toddler development, but it allowed my daughter to bond with the staff and get comfortable in the space. This made her transition into the 3-year-old class completely seamless. I specifically looked for a play-based, age-appropriate curriculum, and LPPP delivers exactly that. The staff is incredibly supportive, I truly couldn't imagine a better environment for a child’s first independent school experience.
LPPP has been the most amazing experience for our daughter. She has done the 3yo and 4yo class. They foster and support emotional and social development. The teachers are incredible - compassionate, patient, educated and fun! We love their play based learning curriculum, and the parent education courses are beyond helpful for our home parent-child relationship and growth. We love LPPP and excited for our son to join next year!
This is such an incredible school! We are in our 2nd year with LPPP and now have two kids in this school. We feel like we hit the jackpot. The teachers care so much about the kids. It feels like you are leaving them with your Mom or Sister...the trust is that high. I also love that the parents are so involved. Not only does this create an environment where the culture is second-to-none, it also gives an incredible child to adult ratio. I would highly, highly recommend this school. We cannot be more in love with everything about LPPP.
