I called and spoke to Amy and let her know I needed daycare for my child from 12 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. She knew well before I went to all the work of going through the states, getting forms filled out by doctors, all the work I went through, she knew that hours and days I needed before hand. I'm about to start my new job in three days, and she tells me last minute my daughter has to be there at 8:30 a.m. everyday. AFTER I already gave her $40 to save a spot for her! I let her know my daughter's father just passed away and she knew we were going through a very tough time. I feel like she totally took advantage of me. She tells me last minute and said that it was in the handbook, which it may have been, but let me know last minute my daughter had to be there at 8:30am! knowing that when I called around looking for a daycare, I would need care for Monday through Friday from 12 to 4 p.m.. she got my money and then screwed me over right before I was supposed to start my new job. Knowing that my daughter's father had just passed away and I'm already going through a tough time. I have absolutely no respect for her and feel that she just robbed me of my money. I will definitely think about making a report to the BBB as well because this woman totally took advantage of me and could not have cared less with tears in my eyes, to give me an explanation of why my daughter had to be there at 8:30 a m. There was no legit reasoning! I just think that's absolutely horrible of her knowing what my daughter and I have gone through and she totally took advantage of us! All for 40$! point blank., She knew when I called looking for a daycare that I needed M-F 12-4! She knew this. still had me go through all that work to get my daughter in there and last minute tell me if she's not there by 8:30 a.m. everyday she can't start. Unbelievable, unprofessional, I'm pathetic, and I just have no respect for her at all!
Ladybug Lane is amazing! My kids loved their time with Amy and her teachers. Would highly recommend her facility to anyone looking for a reputable daycare/preschool.
Amy was great! Very friendly and interactive with the children, highly recommended for anyone looking for great childcare!
