Ladybird Academy Of Dr Phillips

We found Ladybird after my oldest was in another daycare that was terrible. The teachers have been very attentive and always keep me in the loop as to how my children are doing. I love that they have cameras so I can look in on the kids at any time. I also love that they use an app that gives updates for my child’s day and pictures. It’s very easy to message the teachers and they’ve always been very responsive. Any time I’ve had a concern, the ladies in the front have been on it and will check into it for me with follow up usually the same day. My oldest has learned so much being here and they’ve prepped him so well for kindergarten. I’m so happy that my youngest is following in his footsteps. I absolutely love this daycare. It’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our boys.

I can’t speak on the quality of childcare, but the customer service here is appalling! My husband and I toured the space over the summer for my daughter to attend VPK. The staff was very dismissive, impolite, and acted as if we were an inconvenience. I felt as if we were being treated differently because VPK is a Florida program and we weren’t paying for their normal childcare. The VPK classroom was also fairly small, and we found the required uniform to be a bit overkill. Our daughter also attends Dr. Phillips Elementary after VPK, and the staff got very snippy when we asked about how the bus system worked. Their words were: “We have nothing to do with the bus system!” Now that school has begun, we’ve asked the parents of our daughter’s classmates at the elementary school (who also attend Ladybird) like it, and they are all VERY frustrated with how inflexible the center has been. At the start of the year, the bus system was still getting worked out, and the county bus wasn’t picking the kids up from ladybird on time. As a result, the parents are being charged ridiculous late pick up fees for something that is that isn’t their fault. They’ve contacted the director who remained inflexible about their late pick up policy. I’m so glad that my daughter attends the local KinderCare because they have been nothing but amazing AND flexible! Don’t be fooled by the fancy exterior, this place seems to have their priorities skewed.

Absolutely loved having my son at this location!! The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful. The lovely ladies in the infant room- Maria and Jessica, took fantastic care of my 4 month old little boy. We changed care providers for personal reasons, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Lady Bird Academy. I trusted these women each day with my baby and would let them care for him again. Thank you ladies for loving him while I was working!!

My children have attended this facility for the past two years and I have been very pleased with the personal care and attention that they receive on both an academic and emotional level. All of their teachers have been extremely professional, caring individuals that my children have adored. The administrative staff has always been very pleasant to deal with and highly communicative in the event that one of my children is not feeling well or has been involved in an incident. I was EXREMELY anxious to send my children to any school in the first place, but both my husband and I feel very comfortable with the care that our children are receiving at Ladybird.

My daughter has been attending Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips since she was an infant and is now 2 years old. I love the fact that I can see her any time I want to from the cameras in every room, and I can call at any time to speak to the director or her teachers. They are very attentive and careful when incidents happen (falls, bumps, etc) or if my daughter is sick. I'm always called right away to inform me of the situation, and how it's being handled. I'm always greeted when I come and leave, making it a great and friendly environment for my daughter to be in. My daughter loves her teachers and her friends.We also had the option of enrolling her in a dance class once a week on-site, and she has such a wonderful time there. I have many choices when it comes to day cares in my area, but I'm glad I made the right choice for my family at Ladybird!
