La Puerta De Los Ninos

After an extensive search for a daycare, we chose La Puerta for our one year old daughter for so many reasons - it was honestly an easy choice. Its proximity to the bosque and the large outdoor spaces were major selling points — it’s truly something special that we haven’t found anywhere else. I know she doesn't just spend the entire day in one room but goes outside multiple times, does water play in the summer, or visits with other classes. I send my daughter each morning knowing she’ll receive not only excellent care and early learning from the teachers, but also a nourishing meal. The La Puerta staff does an amazing job getting to know each child and parent, making everyone feel engaged and supported. Since joining the La Puerta community, we’ve felt welcomed not only by the teachers and staff but also by the other parents. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful place so close to our home. I can’t say enough good things!

My daughter has been at La Puerta since she turned 1, and she is now 4.5. We have been blown away by the high teacher:student ratios, the incredible care and creativity we see in every room among the teaching staff, the expansive (and, in most places, well-shaded) outdoor areas, the well balanced meals provided (that my kid actually eats!), and just the level of devotion we see in the ancillary staff as well. They work hard at building community and fun among the families & parents with fun events throughout the year, as well as volunteer days. The curriculum is truly play based, and yet my kiddo is coming home with new knowledge every day in arts, life sciences, letter recognition, positive self-regulation strategies, and how to cooperate with lots of peers all day. We feel so lucky that we ended up at La Puerta. A big thank you to everyone there!

My daughter attended La puerta and continues to go to their summer program . My son is also currently going there. I have been a part of their community for over seven years now and love this special place. They have amazing teachers, delicious food and a beautiful facility. My daughter has made lifelong friends there and so have I! Thank you La Puerta for everything! We are so lucky to have you ❤️

Both of my kiddos have loved La Puerta. Prepared my girl for kindergarten very well. She started at La Puerta at he age of 3. She is very advanced for other kids in her kinder class now. My now 2.5 yo boy loves it as well. He started at 4 months old and has learned so much throughout his time at La Puerta. The teachers are amazing and have loved my kiddos like their own. The meals they are served are fresh and nutritious. The holiday events the school puts together are so much fun too!

The staff are so friendly and truly care about the kids! It is a safe environment and a really great space for all ages to play and explore.
